One of the weirdest games I've ever played in my life...
And also one of the biggest waste too...
The FPS parts are ok, although a bit boring, with no enemy variety.
But the whole pseudo-intellectual pretentious nihilist tone of the game destroys everything... The whole thing feels very depressing to me and I kinda feel bad for the developer if this game represents his true mind... Or even part of his mind. lol
I liked how some characters give you quests and at some point, and I thought
it could have been like Strife, or even a simplified Deus Ex...
There's no "rpg" part though, and even the FPS part is oversimplified to serve only one purpose: continuing the overly depressing storyline.
The gameplay is very, VERY shallow, and in the end, it feels more like a walking simulator than anything.
Also, it can be very creepy and makes you uneasy in some areas...
I don't get it... The creepiness of some creatures, posters, etc, in the game doesn't go with the nice lighting tone and colors...
I'm totally ok with the graphics though(love the lighting especially!), which send me back to the old-school FPS of the 90s. (it actually looks BETTER than old FPS)
If only it also PLAYED like an old-school FPS...😞 Or even a FPS/RPG...
You can play some great mods for the first Doom or Duke Nukem which are better than this... (I'm comparing to old FPS cos they had 2D sprites, like this one)
The few people who reviewed it on Steam seemed to really love it, unlike me.
