This so called game is BS! The game is broken halfway thru! I cleared the areas of 2 so called safe zones it says to clear the areas turn power on and close the gate but no matter how far i clear the area the power wont go on and the gates wont close for either of the 2 safe zones! I run around looking for zombies i cant find any but yet the safezone base refuses to activate.I also found another part that dont work in hellraid at the end with the main boss after i beat him the end gate never opens! so the game ends there i got around it by finding a game trainer and using a float hack to pass thru the bars when i landed i was back at the main battle circle where i baet the boss and then the gates opened. So if i didnt use that hack the game would of been broken and unable to finish.Terribly made game! And they want to try and sell people a part 2? Crap they need to go back and fix part one 1st! I miss the old days when games actually worked! This game would of been a waste of money. I'm so glad i got it here and didnt pay for a broken azz game. I can't see anyone buying part 2 especially if part one doesnt work then part 2 is just a continuation of a crappily made games that work halfway. I'm pretty much stuck in the game ive done the dlc hellraid mission that was fun. But i cant finish the games main mission because certain things refuse to activate in the game. If i cant find a way to get it to work then i'm deleting this game. It was fun at the start doing missions but then that ends and then its just freeroam and it gets boring after an hour. Good luck i hope others havent had this issue with their game.

I checked a few sites looks like there is a hotfix for this so i'm downloading the hot fix and applying it. If it dont work i'll let everyone know but if i dont say anything it's because i'm playing the game! :)

None of the additional dlc's are working, the following does tho, but not much else. I dont think i could install the dlc's(after the installation setup) from the game folder either

This error is usually caused by your windows missing some drivers needed to launch the game/software. You should update all drivers for your windows. Alternatively, you can also refer to the drivers listed in the "_INSTALL TUTORIAL.txt" file. Normally, as soon as I install windows, I usually do all those steps, you won't need to worry about not being able to run any game/software in the future :D

i also hate the zombies at night and unninstalled the game because of that but after lots of other games downloaded i still like dying light more over the others so imma continue to play it even if all the missions i had left are missions during the night chests are easy come on invincible zombies are more annoying than chests
what i ended up doing was deleting my game and starting over and that worked! What ever the issue was after the update i deleted my old game and started froma clean slate and everything just fell right into place thank god! So many issues before. I think with every new update i'll just start over

LOL! the game tells him to open the hood and arm the trap and he tries to open the car door and cant and gets so angry he hits the door with his weapon!!! This is a good example of what they call a "Bad Listener" I guess some players decide to just turn off the thinking process when they play!
Just for report, the DLC Vintage Gunslinger Bundle is corrupted. I tried buy it, but you can't buy only DLC and get the installation files without the base game. So, unfortunetely, we'll have to play without it.
I doubt you really have. I don't use antivirus and I installed each one following a list for not miss any. If you have the files yet, try to uninstall the mentioned DLC and reinstall it, then take a printscreen and send me.

it might be cause i downloaded from the torrent site, someone else in this comment section said the dlc doesnt work but when they downloaded from the torrent it worked
It's well known all the pirate sites have reported the same thing-the DLC Vintage Gunslinger Bundle Doesnt work! The files were corrupted! It's ok i'm just glad i can play the game even without some dumb 6 shooter on my side!
Ok so i uninstalled the game downloaded and reinstalled the game and it upgraded to the 1.38 version so i tried to update the 1.39 and 1.41 dlc and got nothing but errors so these dlc's are crap! No good so i reinstalled this game for nothing! they need to take down these broken dlc's and fix them! So if you were like me and had version 1.34 you can download and install just the main game folders at least it will be an upgrade to version 1.38 but the rest of these dlc's dont bother they are all messed up they didnt work when i had version 1.34 and they didn't work when i upgraded to version 1.38 so i'll stay with version 1.38 until they get around to deep sixing them and redoing them to the correct files! Also note: When i was installing one of the dlc's from the main game download i found out that it was corrupt "the Vintage Gunslinger Bundle" was a corrupt file it didnt let me install it but since there was so many others i really didnt care but if your one of those players that wants to have all of the dlc's then you got a problem i doubt they would redo the entire game files for one little dlc.Ok well i tried i hate wasting 5 hours only to find the whole reason i tried to update turned out to be totally worthless! It's a big shit sandwich and we all get to take a bite! Yummy! The 1.39 dlc patch DOESNT WORK!!!!! So looks like i'm stuck with the 1.34 version i think this was the issue the last time! Seems like they never addressed or fixed it. Oh reading thru i see what IGG did! WOW! They really need to fix this or explain from what i'm reading they updated the main game to version 1.39 so instead of just installing a dlc you have to download and install the game again then install the 1.41 dlc afterward! I have the 1.34 version so i just need to download and install the 1.39 and 1.41 dlc files but it didnt work 1.39 and 1.41 gave me errors so i have to download and reinstall the entire game!
start your game and look in the lower right side it will tell you what version of the game you have then depending on what you have you can decide what you need but if you have the main game then just get the dlc's no need to redownload the game
The 1.39 patch does not work. It says the files from patch 1.35 are missing. The initial version is the 1.38 offered above. Please correct the patch. Thank you in advance PS installing the patch 1.34 in advance is not possible because 1.38 is already available.
this is where youll actually wanna (UPDATE the game from) not from the batch files which are for the old version thru steam. this is the GOG version! gunslinger has an issue for me, states its corrupt. maybe it is for me, dont know dont need it i suppose. anyhow good luck, btw no issues with strange or funky words in game.
(edit for the last time, you need to open the folder WHERE YOUR EXTRACT IS called DLC, and install ONE BY ONE the exe files all look just like the main installer did. there is ABSOLUTLY NO NEED to run any batch files etc. (the only one im having issues with is gunslinger) other than that the rest seemed to work fine. no b.s. with funky letters etc.)

Ok who was smoking crack when they made the update folder 1.34.0? This is just so gawd awful i have to laugh! I had to extract and install the patch and update for each of the 5 updates so i was able to skip all those non working bat files! It was slower then i liked but just happy it worked! I got my game back to version 1.34.0 and I decided i'm going to leave it there once again! This is like the 3rd time due to broken update patch, sum missmatch is what it actually says and so many of them, i feel like i'll finish the game before i find a working update LOL!!! Until they can fix the broken 1.39.0 update. Then this 1.34.0 version is where i'll stay! I tried the 1.39.0 update and i just get errors and sum mismatches. Too bad i was looking forward to this update too Ok good luck everyone! lets pray they fix the update quickly!
Way to go being able to fix the issue yourself i had the same problem but i'm stuck at version 1.38 your right both dlc's patches are broken looks like they been broken for months now so i'm going to leave my game at version 1.38 i'm reading those that tried to update to 1.39 got nothing but real bad problems and i dont want to lose my game ive been playing for the past 6 months.
from what i just found, downloading just the "base" (6 downloads) is the updated version. theres no need to try to update the game. i could be wrong, but if you recently downloaded from here, check what version your running. none of the updates will run anyhow..... correction, you may wanna try what peaked said, by this he/she meant where you first installed the game from theres a DLC folder, with an ASSLOAD of exe application files to which you can run. or you can spend 15.00 usd and buy the entire game, with ALL DLC included plus call of Juarez with it off the official page for dying light at this time.

Ok since the next update is a small one and i probably wont even notice the difference i'm staying with 1.34.0 version! I am here to let you know i have finished the game including the (The Following) with all max and lvl 250 LEGEND, and im trying to find the HELLRAID. This is the info i get so far on how: (Hellraid does not appear as an option in the menus. To start the DLC, you need to finish the prologue of the main campaign (including a quest called Sleep through the night). Having done that, go to the Tower and find a unique Arcade Machine. Interact with it and you will be teleported to the new DLC map.)

working perfectly f9,download all part 1,2,3,4 and 5 in same folder and extract only part 1 file iso in that same folder and mount that iso file and start setup. then crack all copies inlcuding tool file in crack folder. Easy,Thanks admin thx CODEX :)
I had no problem downloading and installing but as i launch it, even in administrator mode, it tells me its missing 0x0000007b. Anybody knows how to fix this?
I was able to download it and all but it just launched steam, i've seen a couple of comments on other games that suggests that it shouldn't be a problem
why didn't they make a NORMAL update was my 1st thought when i saw the new update but i eventually installed the updates. I like that it disappears after it installs the patch! I thought id have to go thru my files and search and remove them one at a time so great job IGG!!!! So happy to have version 1.34! I been so busy with original play thru i just looked at all the other missions man i have like a whole year of playing this! Really amazing! If i was working i would buy this. I think it is worth it with all the DLC's just an amazing amount of content. Thank you IGG-Games! I just started it and it comes right up! version 1.34!!!! yeah! Sorry if you read any of the prior comments you would know igg never reads or very rarely ever reads the comments section if you want it fixed you have to ask in the request tab! the more requests they get the faster they will fix the problem! So far in the past week i am the ONLY one who has sent a request in so it will be a long time unless more stop just writing in comments and actual send requests in thru the request tab located in the upper right corner of this page! I ran the file integrity program that came with the download i found it's this one- (42304)-4.bin i checked looks like download part 4 is corrupt and needs to be replaced i tried the other download they all have the same corruption in part 4 i was hoping at least one would work! Now we have to wait till it gets fixed!
setup_dying_light_the_following__enhanced_edition_1.33.1_(64bit)_(42304)-7.bin its this one and its file size is 724 Mb which is suprisingly small compared to the other bin files which was 3.99 gb
I had the same problem as described by Neil, although I cannot vouch for the accuracy of Neil's diagnosis. There is definitely something wrong with the files which doesn't allow me to install it, file integrity check gives me an error too (telling me to redownload it from GOG, I have deleted the files by now). I had installed a previous version of the game from IGG prior (can't exactly tell you which either)

so after getting the parts im met with like a dozen installations, and i just tried to install the "enhanced edition" but it said some file was corrupted and couldn't be copied. Two days ago someone else had a similar problem. i used mega whats up? Edit- i found out it says that a file named "setup_dying_light_the_following_enhanced_edition-1.33.1_(64bit)_(42304)-4.bin" idk where to put this problem out there so i hope this post can help someone find the problem and fix it for anyone else experiencing this

When i try to launch the game after downloading it via the plaza installer a window pop up saying error 3:0000065434. Has anybody encountered this issue and if so is there a wa to fix it
With the addon "The Following" Techland also released a big patch for the main game "Dying Light", which combined both the game and the addon to "Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition", which on its part replaced the original but optional purchase version of the game from then on. So, yea, when it reads "Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition" then it always contains the original game plus the "The Following" addon. I highly doubt that you can purchase the sole "Dying Light" anywhere anymore nowadays.
Welp, I cracked the game, and I managed to get through the first cutscene, but the game keeps crashing as it loads the actual game. It's definitely not my AV. Can anyone help me with this problem? EDIT: I fixed it by running it in compatibility mode with Windows 8
Everytime i run the plaza setup its always crashing. the installation was working at first but 20 second after that the PLAZA setup is disapear. any solution i cant install my games :( ?
sometimes the steam.dll file will get blocked/deleted by the windows security, best to do is excluding the file for you to play the game. also copy all cracked files into the game folder that you've installed, not the installer.
I'm really enjoying the game, but I have a problem. Everything works just fine, except when I'm done playing and close the program, the .exe deletes itself. No antivirus reports to have blocked anything, it's not in the bin, and I have to reinstall the entire thing every time because taking the .exe from the crack tells me I have no permisions to do that (I can put literally any other file in the folder). Also, if it helps, sometimes reinstalling causes problems with isDone.dll (I'm probably going to keep playing anyways, but I'm willing to try stuff to fix it if you have any ideas)

Maybe you didn't apply the crack? Or even if you did apply the crack maybe your antivirus or windows defender blocked it? Try turning them off and copying the crack manually
there is some bug in the game and this is very annoying. some npc (faceless) textures are missing I saw the update about this in steam (1.23 hotfix). Can you add please?
you and your friend need hamachi first then you and your friend need to complete the tutorial missions until the coop mode unlocks (it will appear saying you have unlocked online coop mode) then you and your friend switch online mode to LAN
Make sure you have direct tunneling connecting through hamachi first, you cant play coop if your connection is blocked, use the "diagnose" button and see what is interfering with you connection If you follow my instructions you should be able to play it with no problem, i have tested this on a diferent pc some while ago and worked the same way could be an issue related to your pc or your friends pc too, like some antivirus or program blocking connection
Your friend and you have to finish the tutorial in order to play co-op, and then go to a safe zone (finish spike's car traps mission) Assuming youre both using hamachi, it will work. (make sure to change multiplayer options to LAN and deactivate your firewalls)

Hey guys I had problems with the language changes in this game. I googled a lot but I couldn't find a solution. Then I tried something really obvious and it actually worked! Because I read a lot of comments here asked how to change the language, I thought I could help you.^^ So here: A simple guide how to change language with audio (worked for me, german):
Open the installer of the base game. Before you install the game, click on option and choose your language (Thats only the text).
Install the game. After you have installed the game, run the other .exe files in the installer folder.
Go into the game path (default is C:\GOG\Dying Light) and navigate to the "DW" folder.
Switch the folder names of "SpeechEn" and the language you want for example rename SpeechEn to SpeechDe and SpeechDe to SpeechEn.
Enjoy the game in you language^^ I know that there is an issue that the audio is not working fine and the charakters don't speak, but for me this trick worked absoluty fine. If it's not working for you, feel free to comment, I will try to help you!^^ Sorry for my bad English I'm from Germany as you could read it in the guide. xd Hope I could help you^^
Either this simply doesn't work at all or i'm seriously missing something. I downloaded all the files, extracted them to a folder, ran the installer which was GOG btw, and when it asks me for the first part of the install data it gives an error everytime i select the correct folder. I have a question guys , about the Downloadable Contents of this version of dying light 1.18.0 . Does this have the same DLC content like the older version 1.12.2 ? , like for example does this version of dying light 1.18.0 have the bozak horde too ? , I'm not really sure about the dlcs of this version 1.18.0 , I only installed a few of them and I think some are actually missing like the bozak horde.
I can't find the .ini file that shows which dlcs are available , however I found out that inside of the game , I opened the quest list and saw the bozak horde there , and it shows it's availabe , thanks for the responsive help anyways.

I want to believe you, but it just seems odd to me that the game was fine before. I played it for a week. And then all of a sudden, my antivirus picks it up as a trojan. Infact, I've been using this site for a year and that's literally the first time my antivirus has picked up anything. Or do the circumstances just not matter, and it's just my antivirus being goofy?

search for Dying Light steamworks fix v4 Revolt (I downloaded on game3rb). When you run the game installer, don't mark on the "apply crack". After the installer is finished, go to the SKIDROW folder and copy only the "Dyinglightgame" file to the game folder. Then extract the steamworks fix into the game folder. It worked for me.

As far as I know, there are no cheats in the game, just craft some molotovs and kill Rais' men, some of them have guns, if you just play the game and progress, after a while you will find an abundance of guns from the enemies you kill

Dann lade dir die 3 dateien runter und entpacke sie.(du musst nur die rar datei entpacken aber die anderen 2 müssen im selben ordner sein)Da ist dann ein installer denn führst du aus und wählst dein spielverzeichnis aus . Nicht das was der insteller auswählt ! Und fertig . Hoffe ich konnte helfen.
Wow, most of you still don't know how to torrent games in 2018? Before you install, DISABLE all your antivirus. Windows defender will also think steamapi_64.dll is a trojan, which it isn't. Either allow it or disable defender all together. After the installation, copy the CRACK (4 files) into the game folder and overwrite those 4 files. If ANY anti-viruses are still running, they will quarantine/delete the steam64 file meaning the crack will not work and the game will just open your steam.

i recieved this from the crack folder - Trojan:Win32/Tiggre!rfn = file: G:\SKIDROW\steam_api64.dll defender and all antivirus was already off. now im concerned to finish the install and play this game :/ when i tried to run the exe after finishing the skidrow install (apply crack checkmarked) it said i need steam to run this game. only when i manually applied the crack did the trojan warning pop up :/. someone help me please
Everything is tested and scanned before being upload, this website is virus free. Always turn off your AV/Firewall before extracting/installing/playing. If it redirect you to Steam, it mean the crack was deleted by your AV/Firewall.

So I’m getting the common error of “you have to be connected to steam to play dying light” so I went to the skid row folder and tried copying the crack but I have to have admin priviledges to copy. So what file do I add admin priviledges to? I tried to steam64 file but it won’t let me change to admin. What am I doing wrong?
Alright I’m gonna answer my own question. All you have to do is (make sure you have given the folder admin priviledges) and TURN OFF ANTI VIRUS! That’s it

Look downloading parts is very useful if you want to download them on your mobile or tablet then transfer to PC , also its easier to replace a corrupted part than a whole torrent file. where are the save files located? i have looked all over in my steam folders and my documents folder went thru the dying light folder out, i tried to make a folder called save but that didn't work. nothing about the saves before i did that? i just bought the game and was wanting to transfer my save to my new one.

You must crack the game in order for the game to play. Drag the "CRACK" or "Codex" pr "Skidrow" folders into the game folder. This will allow you to open the game. Hope this helps.
I pasted this in right below the appid line but none of the dlcs are unlocked. Any idea why? also in case it might be the problem, I haven't updated to 1.15 yet so im on 1.13
1st. It may be due to the version update problem. 2nd. The dlcs I have written might not have been present in your game....And yes update your game and download a latest version crack for your game(Eg. 3DM or Codex). First I downloaded from Mega and that got me some errors too, but then I tried the Google drive one and it worked like a charm just install and open patch.exe you will get some errors just like I got and then just skip it and open the shortcut of dying light at desktop to access you game. I hope it will help you :)
i just downloaded the v1.15 update from mega but after istallng running patch.exe its is saying file cannot be renamed and it says running as administrator but anyway something got wrong
Yeah, When I found that error I thought it would case problem while running the game...but nope it didn't! then I done some research about the extensions. I found that the patch.exe role is to convert extension but in this case it is already converted so no need of patch.exe. Just double click your Dying Light icon in desktop to start the game. Hope it will help....further more queries pls comment!

You need to copy the crack files from the extracted update files to the install directory as well. I had the same issue and this fixed it for me. Hope this helps someone!
Is multiplayer available with this release guys? I see the game mode option but it seems my game visibility always switches to single player once I start.

hey, first off thanks, great game, easy installation and download, everything works perfectly and its hell of a fun time. now i wna play coop and invasion, but it seems like i need to connect to the GOG thingy, then link to steam, but while playing, my steam doesn't give a F about it and just says im online, but not playing the actual game... how can i fix this?
only happened after i update with hotfix, i was able to just download another save off the nexus, since i beat the original campaign and was going to play the folowing. I just hate how theres no manual save.
I know there is 10 dlcs coming in this year but is there a chance we can only download the dlc packs and add it to the game rather than downloading the whole game again for 1 dlc and if i reinstalled the whole game will i loose my data ?

Sorry but that is a different issue! Mine was with the hotfix is your game telling you error patch made for different version? If it is then you have the problem i had. but if your missing a file called msvcp110.dll just look up the file and download it! Also it was 4 months ago! As soon as i installed the game i deleted all the installer stuff like most of us do.

yes, rather late to respond. but, they have "videos" on how to install games from here. and most have a "built" in auto crack solution when doing the install. i cant recall if this is a direct download and extract then just play, or if it needed to be installed.. either way your "dvd" drive is somethng confusing. do you mean, the game created a C/USER DIRECTORY place in your computer? are you sure you didnt download ads/off site content from one of the download locations up above? igg does not have viruses. but thats NOT TO SAY you cant obtain one thru one of these ads in the hosting services which are how we "KEEP GETTING FREE GAMES" and by other people donating the games and such.

Also note: When i was installing one of the dlc's from the main game download i found out that it was corrupt "the Vintage Gunslinger Bundle" was a corrupt file it didnt let me install it but since there was so many others i really didnt care but if your one of those players that wants to have all of the dlc's then you got a problem i doubt they would redo the entire game files for one little dlc.Ok well i tried i hate wasting 5 hours only to find the whole reason i tried to update turned out to be totally worthless! (Hellraid does not appear as an option in the menus. To start the DLC, you need to finish the prologue of the main campaign (including a quest called Sleep through the night). Having done that, go to the Tower and find a unique Arcade Machine. Interact with it and you will be teleported to the new DLC map.)

i checked looks like download part 4 is corrupt and needs to be replaced i tried the other download they all have the same corruption in part 4 i was hoping at least one would work! Now we have to wait till it gets fixed!

Part 4 is corrupt so i can't install the main game
its this one and its file size is 724 Mb which is suprisingly small compared to the other bin files which was 3.99 gb
There is definitely something wrong with the files which doesn't allow me to install it, file integrity check gives me an error too (telling me to redownload it from GOG, I have deleted the files by now).
I had installed a previous version of the game from IGG prior (can't exactly tell you which either)
Edit- i found out it says that a file named "setup_dying_light_the_following_enhanced_edition-1.33.1_(64bit)_(42304)-4.bin" idk where to put this problem out there so i hope this post can help someone find the problem and fix it for anyone else experiencing this

then you and your friend switch online mode to LAN
If you follow my instructions you should be able to play it with no problem, i have tested this on a diferent pc some while ago and worked the same way
could be an issue related to your pc or your friends pc too, like some antivirus or program blocking connection

Before you install, DISABLE all your antivirus.
Windows defender will also think steamapi_64.dll is a trojan, which it isn't. Either allow it or disable defender all together.
After the installation, copy the CRACK (4 files) into the game folder and overwrite those 4 files. If ANY anti-viruses are still running, they will quarantine/delete the steam64 file meaning the crack will not work and the game will just open your steam.

Also it was 4 months ago! As soon as i installed the game i deleted all the installer stuff like most of us do.
if you still need help, dont say "faq" doesnt help bc it for sure has a placve to go and watch a video "vids are old and outdated as fuck" but they may have updated it by now idk i dont need help installing games from here. not to say i didnt use to need help but now im the "help" if you will. anyways dude, most games here will be about the same or any exe you install from ANYWHERE on your pc for that matter making a "DVD" drive lol. its a directory not a dvd drive. unless you are using win 7? an somehow got an ISO file.....
