Yes you can, but I do not believe the codex emulator will let you. Just get yourself something like SmartSteamEmulator (SSE) to replace the codex emulator, and use hamachi along with their emulated friend list to invite your friend to a lobby!
when i download the files and open the plaza it takes up 68 gb needed for the download and then requires an extra 68 gb for me to be able to download the game is this a bug?

All DLC on Payday 2 are actually pre-installed (except for true ending movies), so yes, it does include it. I'm not sure if this is how you launch it since I bought it instead of using the IGG version (also because I don't use VR), but you can try to launch the vr exe file (named "payday2_win32_release_vr.exe") with SmartSteamEmu (or whatever crack is included.) Mods, if you can confirm, that'd be nice. Also please confirm that the true ending movies are, in fact, installed. If it isn't, email me and I can provide them: gamingguycontact@protonmail.com
I just get an infinite loading screen whenever I try to start a mission. Not sure if I did something wrong when launching the game or if I missed a step in the installation guide. Could somebody please help me out. ;-;

Don't ask me. There's a list of confirmed games in the thread and just follow the instructions that comes with the download. It may work on some games and if it's not just post the problem on the thread and maybe Golderg can fix it in the next update.

If everything is done correctly you can play the game. If a PC in your LAN also has Goldbergs crack, he can join your lobby and vice versa.

I got the game for free on Steam when it was available for a short period of time. I cracked the game so it doesn't use Steam and I used the Pirate Perfection mod and it worked alright.
You just need to find files on the internet that disables the steam autorun to play the game. Find some files or a file. Maybe edit some configs. Think. Experiment.

Edit: It been day 2 now and the crack still work with mods
This will allow you to play pseudo online in the game but most importantly will allow you to skip the connection screen.
Also use the offline crack only if you want this to work.
