As developers we know some people will pirate Going Under, not everyone can afford games and a lot of us are stuck at home still. That's ok! I still hope you enjoy our game! All I want to say though is that we're a tiny team and we would still love and appreciate your support. played a little, nice game really with a unique art style, good and varied combat and great sense of humor, if i got a extra penny i surely will be paying, you guys really did a great job at this game and i hope that more indie titles with the same amount of quality and soul pop out on the market.
Unfortunately the only way to avoid games getting uploaded here is always online DRM, it's very much a rock and a hard place situation. I can't be sure though, but it's only a GB and labeled with v 1.25, perhaps just the steam demo or an old build? idk. Regardless you’ve got a sale from me next week, cheers.
I'm sure many here appreciate the fact you're not going into immediate "lawsuit" mode like many do. I'll take a look at the demo, and if its worth the scratch, I'll buy. You offered up a demo, so you're a step ahead of many. I mean, I tried The Pedestrian demo and it convinced me to put it on my "to buy" list. Indy companies are among the few these days that seem to give a damn. Especially with how too many companies pull off bait and switch on quality of a game.
I appreciate your effort in creating this, I won't deny it's not my type but I know how much effort you've put into and you wish you make more in the near future. Something to note tho, not all who come here come with the intent to play a game completely from here, some are just curious about the game and come to test it from here as a demo and if they liked it, they go to your main site and purchase it and subscribe for the following official updates. Some tho (like me) can't even purchase a $5 game even if we owned that sum of money because of reasons such as not having a credit card, allowance ain't enough, or our salaries are too low because of our currency that we cannot afford games at anyway possible, and I know all of this is not your fault but try to look at the bright side. A pirate player wasn't a player who gonna buy your game in any way possible but if he liked it tho, he will go to sites such as Facebook, Reddit, and more where he will help you in making the game more famous or known, such as the YouTuber below who share gameplay of the game to intrigue us to try them, and more. Again, I wish you all the luck and I apologize for any pirate player who steal your games, we're sorry.
There was a time you could expect demos. That was the norm. These days its a matter of "trust us!" and then too many companies pull a bait and switch on the quality of the game. This game DOES have a demo on the steam page, so thats a feather in their hat at least.
