I found how to fix that bro, 1: Open youur search box and search Monster Hunter World 2: Right click and open the file location 3: Go back to the file where u have the setup and open the Iso 4: Go on the file CODEX 5: Drag all files in your Monster Hunter location (where u have the .exe) 6: Run the game and enjoy !
so i found out how to do it now(i think, because it worked for me) first open up the 1.15 and until you reached the title screen you don't need to create a new character because it already created a savefile then close the game and open the save file using this app https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/1913/?tab=files conveniently in the mhw nexus mod site then change the id of the old one to the new one steps: 1-open the new save file by dragging the file towards the app(it take a second to tell open and tell you the id) 2-copy the id from that new save 3-open your old save(by doing the same as the first but dragging your old save instead) 4-paste it on the command promt looking thing and enter twice 5-copy the modified old save and replace the old save 6-open and pray that that worked(for me it did and i got my 100+ hours back) notes: the new save loc is %SystemDrive%\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\582010 the old save loc says this %AppData%\PARADOX dont change the steam emu like that tutorial because that somehow didnt work for me always keep one save separately just in case you need to resurrect a character
Does the game includes the HD textures? and if it does, is there a way to remove them from the game to get some extra storage space back? I´m thinking on triying multiple games of over 90Gb like Connan exiles and Ark for the first time.
yep the hd texture is included, the way to remove it is go in the game settings, make sure the texture quality is set to low or either high then apply, quit and go to the games root folder and move the ChunkHiPC folder out of the game (incase something went wrong and the game won't boot) and try launching the game again, and if it works you can now delete the ChunkHiPC folder that you moved, then you should now have a game size of about 48 or either 45 gb.
I am finish download and confirm this version include iceborn, it also detected your old base games monster hunter save data. I am waiting this for so long now my old character can venture into iceborn. :D

Download all parts. Select all the parts and then extract files using winrar or something. It should extract it into one single folder. And then the basics, click the setup or whatever.

Wow~! This is one of the hardest problematic installation that I've solved XD especially I install it on my PC win 7 and laptop win 8.1. Start from lag+blackscreen, nothing show up, nothing show up+lag, then capcom+blackscreen, until Err12:graphic device has crashed. I haven't tried that multiplayer yet, quite lazy XD coz this game doesn't force you to multiplayer. Anyone who needs help can reply this post :D
is there any notification popped up after the crash? You need to tell me what it says. If the game just closing when you run it then you can have mistake in installation. That update is quite tricky, you need to read carefully the path and input the right path, if not the update will be at the wrong place and the game will just close when you run it. The point in running that update is re-write the path, don't use the default path even if it looks right.
Sorry so late, was busy. update your VGA driver to 398.36 (or something around there) Latest VGA won't work with MHW. Btw, there's ice borne already :D But it needs too high spec, sad... T-T
for those who are having trouble bypassing black screen, here's a solution... {{{{{A clean installation is a MUST!!!}}}} First, normally install the base game, part 1-5. Second, install the update V163956. (that's where the error/black screen shows up) when installing the V163956, manually place the destination file in desktop or anywhere you like just don't place it in the game's location. When your done, copy the extracted file to the games location. third and lastly, install the V166925 normally to the game's location and copy/overwrite it's CODEX file and that should fix it. note: you see, when normally installing the update V163956, you notice that it will create its own folder. because of that, the update V166925 cannot overite its [chunks] and [tss] folder/files.
works for me though, its about 10 secs of waiting to pass the black screen, also i think it differs from specs, what i have is the minimum req. from the game
yeah, its necessary. also, you should have all the files from the last pic, without another "Monster Hunter" folder, i just copy every cracked folder in the update and overwrite them including the main file. check your folder if theres a missing chunks, this is my chunk file.
Keep running into a stupid fucking bug that locks the character in the editor and for some reason I won't see anything change, even if I change the gender.
In regards of my fix, you NEED to start to install payday demo 2 and then cancel it. I've seen that it has been removed from the actual steam store but I believe you could get it there https://steamdb.info/app/251040/ .Secondly you have to copy the files of the steamfix to the main game folder (with the.exe). If you've played offline before, I'd advise you create another character and complete the tutorial beforehand because the fix will pretty much nuke your progress past that. At last for the black screen problem: some might need to add the game to their antivirus whitelist and you need to be patient when it starts (I personally had to wait like 10-ish minutes for it to start the first time, goes faster with launches after)+ you need to have steam running when you play. i think it means search for a game called spacewars on steam store. With the steamfix (using payday 2 demo on steam) my steam activity shows as "now playing spacewars". I guess the new steamfix that mr.r here posted requires you to get spacewars in your steam library now instead of payday 2 demo.
I kept the CoopLand.ini from the steamfix, and reverted the other files back to the v166925 files i.e. the steam api's and emu, and the .exe, once i did that it started right up, and kept all the dlc that the CoopLand.ini activates apparently
Remember Window's Defender is an anti-virus and will also delete the crack and or files that are needed, so if I were you I would either deactivate Defender or have it make your SSD, or wherever you usually install your games or where they are to be found, exempt. Also make sure that you transfer the crack from the intial mounting of the ISO through Daemon tools if it doesn't work initially after installation, make a back-up first though just in case. If you JUST want to play this game, I suggest playing without the online fix where you can play online with people who also cracked the game as that fix causes many problems.
Same. I googled it, and I think what's going on is we need to have at any point installed the Payday 2 demo on the Steam account being used. Unfortunately, that demo has since been pulled from the store, and I can't figure out any way to access it.

What do you mean by "other people with everything installed" ? It's easy, or you and the people you want to play with have got the cracked game with the same version with the correct steamfix applied or if those other people have got the paid updated game then it's impossible.
Not without mods, ATKT is out of question since she appeared after the last update on here. Regular KT should work I think, get on nexusmod and look for permanent KT event quest mods (! install no mods that have been updated after the last release here !) also I personally wouldn't recommend doing this quest since it's a multiplayer scaled siege and to be honest it'll be hard to find enough people online for this quest here, however you can look for KT siege solo mods.

its possible that your anti virus deleted something thinking its a virus. most likely the steam_api dll as that is a modified file that can be detected as harmfull even though its not. check your install folder for mhw for missing files like steam_api64 dll if something is missing you have to reinstall the game. if nothing is missing then i dont know what else the problem could be. when playing pirated games always disable your antivirus. if that doesnt work for some reason(windows defender) make sure to put the file thats giving a fals alarm into the list of exceptions on your anti virus.
I don't think the Codex crack for the latest version is working properly. At least for me it's not. Did anyone get the 166925 update working with the codex crack? CPY cracked on previous version worked just fine but this one doesn't
Hi, I'm looking for a cracked exe for MHW to test with the latest iceborn release. I think denuvo is causing their latest big hit in performance on windows and completely flatlines proton. I have purchased the game and the expansion, so I just need an exe without denuvo shit in it.

Wrong. Mine loads for a few seconds, and then just crashes. I don't even touch anything during time the screen is black. So yes, it do have a fucking problem, you fucking cocknugget.

You need steamworks fix files, And steam running. I pinned a link fo it, Scroll up you'll see it. And a few other steps are required, You can look up on youtube for a tutorial.

If it still opens steam that means you're doing something wrong or the crack files are blocked by something like antivirus. Otherwise you can download the update ,apply it and use its crack You can see a tutorial on my Youtube channel(first part for the update)
also what I do is extract all the updates 1 by 1 into a folder then i run the setup link opening the codex program and download the game. then after that I put the codex folder into the program files but it still opens steam.

If the game just closing when you run it then you can have mistake in installation.

Sadly, there isn't a 100% working fix for the blackscreen
downgrade (or update) one version may work for you while the other may give you blackscreen
the Online fix could be one of the reason too
So you have to try the offline crack as another possible fix
The crack files should be inside a folder named codex (if it was cracked by codex . I don't remember)
Otherwise you can download the update ,apply it and use its crack
