Promo says "Pick up your weapons, slash, rush, jump", but weapons are used up rather quickly, not sth you retain, most of the time you'll be using your default melee weapon. And you won't be rushing as there is no dash button, there is only walk, attack, jump, use weapon.
You cannot hold more than 1 weapon, anytime you touch another, the original is dropped to the ground. You cannot change ranged weapon trajectory (like shooting up). You cannot drop from a platform (down+jump), instead, the character jumps while prone, which looks very unnatural. Area A has some strange choice of env hazard presentation, what looks like traffic cones turned out to be spike.
It's collision based damage with knockback. Has some creative variations on weapons, like time-limited chainsaw, but overall feels rather basic.
