At least there has been more effort that has been invested into the designs of the spooks. They are not just goofy floating models of schoolgirls with caved-in eyes or gaping sinkholes for mouths. For one, one of the spooks look like clusters of static. Another one looks like a humanoid blob of blood plasma (and not just a human model given faux texture). They are also not using stock noises, like the typical background hum of caves when the location is not even a cave.
Odd that the spook that actually attacks the player character still needs to resort to worldly means of harm - namely physically beating whoever they attack. Are they spectres of domestic abuse or something?
(9:55) I like how you just have the player character turned around and go back to the corridor. Sunlight through a window silhouetting some impossibly bright red shapes would have anyone going "nope, I'm outta here".
