for ppl confused you dont put the files to the v1.6.3 version you keep it in the original, dont worry about it being a virus its from their official 1337x version.
use the link i put there, if you have a torrent program (qbittorrent, bittorrent, utorrent etc.) you can click the save .torrent file and then install it from then on. if you dont have one you can click the start torrent file button and it will install from there.

GUYS!!! I found the "REAL" fix of the "pirated" thing. I appreciate everyone's comment on how to fix the "pirated" version thingy, but none just seem to work on me. After minutes and minutes of tweaking of steam_emu.ini and things, I found what worked for me:
I did download the "plugins" thingy that is provided here in the comments. Just scroll down and you can download it too.
Change the AccountID inside the steam_emu.ini to 0, (I also removed the # before accountid) This one is what worked for me: Change the username to whatever you like, NOT CODEX/IGGGAMES.
Check the comments and do what TWISS commented. After that if it doesnt work(it didnt with me) block the .exe file access to the internet. Google how to do it or check on youtube, it is everywhere. It could help with other cracked apps as well.

I know that this post was active a month ago, but the solution is to not delete hashtag before accountid=12345678. And turn on steam on your computer. I did it and it worked.
I finally get everything straight.. -first download the full codex version (any version) -then download the v1.6.0 -then finally change the .ini (username & stuff) as you suggested finally can get thru... my opinion is v.1.6.0 is just kinda like a patch, if u don't have the complete installation (like .iso file installation) even if you trying to change or editing anything .ini file you would still get the pirated, after all the file was just extract & copy...
just extract/copy the v1.6.0 alone won't work for me anyway even change the .ini file was also pointless as I tried so many time change the username/pass and I still can't move apartment (still pirated)

Is the file size less than 5 MB? Did you get the file directly, or have you used an exe? If the answer to any of the questions is yes, you downloaded an ad. Please try downloading the files again and make sure you get the correct ones.
i think theres a new anti piracy system (or i cracked it wrong) if you attempt to move fromm moms home to the first flat you can move into it brings up a popup saying your running a pirated version... clever devs

Its easy to fix, you go to YoutubersLife_Data/Plugins/steam_emu and you change the username you have to change it to a name of some account that exists real.
this worked for me. for those wondering where this is at. Replace the steam ini file in the plugins folder. Also just heads up run the game with elevated priveleges was only way I got sound hope it helps. Seems to work fine for me.
on the youtubers life data theres a folder called plugin and replace a file called steam_emu.ini to another steam_emu.ini from another cracked game. for example if u have cracked sekiro u could copy the steam emu file

Cracked, changed Offline to 1, Game seems to work but when get to second part of tutorial - "configure setup" there are no ways to get off that screen. Choose setup options but never get to proceed off that page... on that page forever.
