When i played it first time nothing bad happened. But then .exe file just dissapeared and whenever i try to add exe from update it says that i need permissions to do that
what's controller suppport? x360ce can't working(ps2 controller), it's cause replace another wrong button. ex: X to triangle button, some button not working too T-T.
Had to check it for an hour to answer. From my experience, they kinda made it a liiiiiiiitte bit harder. But if you've gone through 0 or 3 with little to no probs, the only difficulty for you is hard.
The days of playing as a group of badasses, terrorizing the street (especially if you're the teenage mutant ninja type) are behind us, cuz. Sad times. =\
"Nice intentionally misleading "quote" that I never said." Yes you did. I cut out the part about the series liking to repeat it's patterns because it wasn't relevant. Those were your EXACT words. And yes i was referring to Dead Souls which was a radical change and it was terribly bad, worst game in the series."it was just the exact same game but with zombie enemies and no change of pace at all." No it fucking wasn't. It was much slower paced for starters, much less freedom, much more linear and cramped corridors, hell you don't even have access to ALL of Kamurocho. Don't pretend Dead Souls wasn't a huge change of pace because it was. For the worst. No I wasn't referring to Like A Dragon because i have yet to play that one so I can't comment on it. what I CAN say is that It doesn't feature Kiryu as a main character so I don't mind the change to a semi RPG style of combat but, again, haven't played it yet so I'll reserve my judgment of it until i play it. Same goes for Judgement really. There is a reason why Yakuza 1-6 were so successful. Because what changes they introduced didn't alter the core gameplay or how the game goes. There is NOTHING wrong with sticking to a formula and adding little things to it. Look at the Final Fantasy franchise. It's always been an RPG(Dissidia and ff7 remake notwithstanding, as well as the non mainline entries) and it's still successful. "Sticking to formula every single time just isn't creative" Again, this isn't true. You can stick to a formula and still make it different, add or change a thing or two as long as the change isn't RADICAL, like what happened with Haruka's chapter. There are tons of franchises that don't make radical changes and yet are still successful and avoid monotony by making small changes, removing some things or adding others in their place
" Any change of pace in Yakuza is welcome no matter what it is." That's not true, not true AT ALL. When you have an established foundation that works, changing it dramatically is not a good thing. I mean look at the one Yakuza game we don't talk about. That was a change of pace and it was terrible, worst game in the franchise. And I'm not saying 5 as a whole is bad, just the Haruka chapters. Not all change is good and not all change should be so promptly accepted. That would be like being happy that Final Fantasy suddenly went from deep RPG to shallow platformer. It's just not right
Didn't seem that small to me. While she did have 4 chapters like everyone else, they just dragged on and and on and on with the Idol stuff. I don't care about the life on an Idol, that's not why i play Yakuza for, i play it for the beat em up gameplay and the political/yakuza life story. the bits with Akiyama sure, great. The bits with Haruka just drag on and get way too repetitive for my taste, game got dull and just caused me to drop it completely. But, like i said, now that it's out on PC I'l at least TRY to finish it
Yeah i know about 5, i played it myself. Can't comment on the difficulty of the US version cause i played the EUR version since I'm European. As for 5...yeah Kiryu had a better role and story and Saejima's chapter was also great but Haruka's chapters SUCKED. Easily the weakest part of the entire game for me. Not only did they drag on forever, the story just wasn't interesting. They made me drop the game completely. Yeah now that it's on PC I'll finally finish it but when i first played it on PS3 i hate it. And keep in mind i love rhythm based games, like the Hatsune Miku games for example but i just couldn't stand Haruka's chapters
I mean i liked it too but not as much as i did three or Zero. One of the things i had the most issues with was that Kiryu's chapter almost felt tacked on last minute
If it's anything similar to 0/Kiwami, nope. ALTHOUGH you can lay a beatdown online with someone.... involving some of the minigames. Anyone up for pool?
I know that like a dragon has denuvo, that is why I said that I could get my yakuza fix before someone cracks the game... because I will be playing and finishing 3 games until then... sorry I tought that all of that was implied.
