Millennials are in their 30's, jackass. You mean Gen Z. Also, IQ means jack and shit. The fact you think it does shows how little merit anything you say actually has. And how is virgin even an insult? I didn't stick my dick in a call girl, so I'm a joke? Really? If you're not a troll, your family tree is a line.
Finished the game, compared to xcom 1 and 2 war of the chosen i would say 6/10 A simplified version, no perma death, no base building, all premade chars, 4 personel per encounter Mission lasts 10-20 mins will be repetitive at some point Verdict: As XCOM fan, play it (playing as alien using their skills might be fun), but dont set your expectation too high New to XCOM players just no, better play XCOM 1 and 2 first
Since this one seems to be a simplified version of the game, I thought it would be a good starting point to new fans. So you don't recommend doing that?
Because if you have played the original version, now you can expect to use what aliens do to you, now to your enemies using your aliens friends Since this is a direct sequel to Xcom 2, lots of things is not explained assuming you already know them, like the elders, advent etc In reverse, after starting with this then played the original, maybe you can appreciate how simplified this game compared to the original
eventually they likely will just a bit harder. (know this comment more on justly attacking this game (though will say least they know not to charge 60$), but just in case you are ment to request on official area not here).
Something I realized when adding -allowconsole to the shortcut target to enable the console commands is that there is a "-review" as part of the shortcut by default. If you remove the "-review" it enables some really crazy debug options, such as being able to open a instance of any level or starting the game with a debug team. Then to go back to the normal game just add review to the shortcut target again.
It's alright, not a fan of no-permadeath but at the same time Firaxis is trying to widen their audience as well as buffer XCOM 3 or whatever else they're developing so I get the sudden change. It's fine for what it is. Also lol at everyone claiming this pushes forced diversity
sadly it seems possible along with their moderators being bad showing of it (though moderators and pr does not = fact on media object it does not help and points to it). But ya it likely just a quick cash pull with low effort. (god them voices and writing ahhhhhg). Had these been great most would have been joyed and ignored the diverse (or accepted or been happy even).
For anybody who installs the crack directly and it disappears or after unzip/install crack/exe is missing. Check quarantined files. Heres how on W10 > http://j.gs/Dvq3
if you enjoy it then its good for you. Sadly premade character with unlikeable personality, siege system that make the gameplay jokingly far too easy and no perma death that took away my attachment to the unit even further kill my interest. i simply skip it.
Games\XCOM Chimera Squad\Binaries\Win64 - then open steam_emu and you will find it? No matter how you browse, there are no files in this location. (I also tried re-installing it twice.) This game's actually pretty alright. Faster paced CQC XCom with preset characters and trimmed down gear, but interesting new situations, synergies and tactical elements. Most of the dislike comes from the very, very hit or miss characters and "oh no, diversity". Two of the starting characters aren't very likable; Terminal sounds like a bratty idiot and Cherub seems to have two, maybe three braincells. Thankfully, it quickly becomes a non-issue; there's not actually much banter during the gameplay, just the typical quips like in previous titles, every other character I've hired so far is great, and to top it off you can basically never use the characters you don't like, as the max squad size is 4 and you'll have 5 characters by the second or third mission. So, if fighting for a racially diverse future alongside aliens isn't something that'll make you throw a pathetic hissy fit, and you want a new take on the XCom formula that is familiar enough but keeps things interesting, check the game out. As someone who's played a couple hundred hours of these kinds of games, I dig it, but keep in mind there's bugs and flaws, some identical to the ones in previous titles.
i dont mind the mixed race. but premade character dont work well enough to make us attached to the cast. not to mention no perma death water down the attachment even further. Siege mechanic make gameplay stupidly even more easier then it supposed to be. and yes i spend few hour to try justify its existence.
I had no idea it didn't have permadeath, though it makes a bit of sense as there's no replacements for any character. That does suck though. What difficulty are you playing on, though? Normal is easy, especially if you've played XCom a lot before.
no im not playing on normal. and free shot during siege did make it easier during harder difficulty specially since it is guaranteed shot and most of enemy mostly out of cover due to matrix style slow motion.
It's not always a guaranteed shot, but it's often a lot more accurate than the normal shots, yeah. If you know how to use it to take out the biggest threats before the fight begins, it makes encounters a lot easier. Maybe they'll address this in an update, but it's not that bad on the higher difficulties.
by guaranteed i mean the shot itself not the guaranteed hit. every member got a free turn to shot and since everything happened in slow motion enemy mostly still out of cover.
Ahh, I see. I think the free shot for everyone is a good idea, considering there's also other abilities you can use during the slow-mo, it just needs to be less incredibly powerful overall. Enemies don't retaliate often enough (and you can often prevent or avoid their retaliations) for there to be a trade-off; if they always/almost always shot back, you'd have more of a choice between risking damage for a free shot, or rushing the character to cover.
which is the mechanic of Valkyrie chronicle lol. it indeed can tip the balance tho i doubt they will patch it inside. but as long as slow mo is there, retaliating enemy will not cause enough to balance it. after all, on average reaction, player mostly need less then 3 second to swap to all enemy and remember which to target to shoot on your siege free turn.. if they have no time to duck to cover do you think they have enough time to retaliate?
Not so sure seems like they wanted a MTX Tablet game then change their mind, very little replay from what I did in it. More of a puzzle game as the situation will be the same far more than it should. In time it might get those MTX elements added as its a cheap game.
Did you play past the introductory missions (the first two or three I believe)? There's enough different maps, situations, enemy reactions, etc. to have a good amount of replayability from a gameplay standpoint, though in terms of campaign replayability I don't think it's got much going. All tactic games are esentially a puzzle though; how its presented changes how aware of it you are though. Doubt the microtransaction stuff, it may get random little DLCs at best, though I do agree it wouldn't be out of place as a tablet game. A good one, considering most of those are garbage.
that's beacause its making a copy of the shorcut select the shorcut and right click it then go to the file source or something like that and the you can make a copy of the original file
Good thing I tried this out before wasting money. I have to constantly remind myself that I'm playing an XCOM game because it does not feel like XCOM at all. There is no character creation, no death and no tactical planning. You just pick those shiny doors/windows to go in blind and pray for the best. Also pray that the game does not randomly bug out and "forget" you have armour on.
this suck I meet the recommended easily on all but video card which isn't even meeting Minimum. just how bad is AMD Radeon R7 200 Series compared to AMD Radeon HD 7770? because my pc crashed 3 times trying to play this only after its been an hour or so
if you meet the requirement it should be no issue . most likely you use a default integrated processor instead using your dedicated GPU try to change the setting from your card control panel. tbh tho the game is quite bad so i dont think you miss a lot by skipping it lol
for me personally i dont mind some difference but Xcom and xenonaut always a game that attach you to your soldier via perma death mechanic. The story work on your head. this game is both too easy and have a bad narration. it is a bad trade off. i tried to tolerate the main cast but they just dont click as well as previous xcom random grunt. you might enjoy this spin off but i dont and thats fine. we are not hivemind after all. personal preference is to be expected.
Having a really good time with this game. Its lite-xcom, but its just as good as the other titles. I heard others say the dialogue is cheesy, but I did not feel that way at all. Its well done imo. Thank you IGG and Codex!
I have a question for myself and answer for myself also. Question: Should I buy Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4? Answer: Fucking Yes! Even you wanted to wait for pc release and download a crack pirated version. I won't be able to fucking downloading it. reason. My Fucking Wifi won't last to download 90.62 GB. so best just buy a physical copy at my local store. oh my god. I never thought that it would be that big. I thought only XV is 100GB. but .... oh my god.
That's not a good enough reason, I can't put " banned for childish comments" next to the ban... Technically they're not hurting anyone nor breaking the rules. 🤔
no character creation, no commander, and no death for squad, art style not my cup of tea. thank god i can try it so i dont need to buy and disappointed later. Skip
Lool I had the same thought, downloaded it tried it basically 10 mins and uninstall they did a poopie with this one and its on sale(half-price now) like a day after release .
So many critical bugs, not even tested before release, I think the developer didn't play it. bugs like: you will lose your equipments without reasons and have no way to fix it. You have to play without armor and hope it will appear after a mission or upgrade.
This was a Demo Version as far as I can tell because this is so different from the actual release version that I have seen in videos, it is pretty obvious from the main menu itself.
he just a annoying troll trying to get rise out of people probably doesn't help that he is likely older and going insaneR from corona lockdown and sees this as his fun escape (what I wish is his comments would be removed and him banned as he doing this a few areas not just on this game)
Just a warning: in nearly two decades of pirating, XCOM and XCOM 2 were the only times I've received a DMCA/C&D letter from my ISP. Doesn't sound like this is worth the download anyway.
i dont think so he already got warned by another mod that if he keep doing his bs he will get banned for good a mod temp ban him i think it was -phase-
you are rich ??? and going to pirate site for purate games ? why you dont buy originals if you are so rich ? or you are rich because you are half robin hood ? stealing from rich, but keeping it for yourself ?
oi, tell him to keep that literal shit off reddit, that's the only place I'm able to have actual conversations on the internet that is actually in english and not memeish. Deport him to 4chan, or the mental ward.
From how old her fingers look i can tell she must be around 50 years old or more...Go away grandpa we don't care about your old wife. Go take your Viagra you seem to need it
well what i remember Forex drop from 5k to barely 1.7k so lost a lot there since crud oil prices are tanked since late Feb because the lack of traveling going on.
This game is basically a mod for XCom2. It castrates tactical part of the game by cutting it into scenes of flash entry. Alas, while it could be a great thing due to an added layer of planning, this mechanic is completely random. You just don't know where you're going into and what to expect. You just pic a shiny door or a nice window. There's no reason to pick one of the other. Sure, you can just go in randomly, reload and then make a decision based on some facts. Instead, you're just going in blind. You don't even know size or shape of the place you're breaching. Strategic part of the game is also very poor. It's completely linear. While I was excited after seen city map, my hopes were nuked a moment later because it's not the city from Apocalypse. It's just an excuse to put random tactical encounters on it. The game also has an additional layer of constant banter. It's like the new star Wars or the Avengers series. Everyone is constantly talking nonsense. If 99,5% of this crap was removed, nothing of any value would be lost. Firaxis is clearly going for younger and not that smart audiences. XCom evolves from a strategy game with tactical encounters into a slow paced MOBA. Even character we get to play look like borrowed from League of Legends, Fortnite or some other crap fro children.
That's the whole point of breaching; you don't know what you're going to get. It forces you to adapt to the scenario instead of turtling like a bitch and wanting to keep everything under control and use the same strategy. Banter is also almost non-existent beyond the first two or three introductory story missions. Play the game for more than ten minutes next time, will ya?
I played for an hour. It was a wasted hour. Also, you're not adapting. You're randomly clicking. When your first set of random clicking fails, you must restart to pick some other sequence of random clicks, or simply use your memory to recreate every move of your opponents. Thanks, but I'm unwilling to learn the game by heart.
If you're failing at this game, you're going wrong somewhere lol, perhaps "randomly clicking" is just a bad idea... And yes, the key is to adapt, moreso than in previous titles. It eventually comes down to a sequence, once you unlock and learn all the skills of your main team, but for a large part of the game, you're gonna have to be actually adapting your tactics to react to each situation. Also, don't ever restart unless the game bugs out, there's no point and you're ruining your own fun, idiot.
wouldn't traveling be consisted suicide if you willing do it knowing bad things (tn) are happening ? or would it be murder by causing death of innocent people ?
Congratulations! Looks like you are figuring out what married life is: one person shitting all over another, but telling the whole world that you love each other.
They said there will be mods able to so unless they lie who knows, this may or may not be a quick sjw side game (would not doubt it any more given some the reviews, how often they use the word They on character sin game, moderators siding with sjws in typical fashion->block/remove/ban those even slightly against their view yet allow everything said on their side) or just a quickly thrown out side project to pass the time(what I thought before moderators, they, and reviews though 100% could still be true).
They just tried to widen their audience with this game. You like flashy characters and simple gameplay that doesn't require too much of your attention but you've had too much fortnite already? Time for Chimera Squad!
Disgrace? They just make what sells. This being said, they'll get burned by this strategy because they cannot compete with such games like the ones mentioned above. Even ridiculously simplified, XCom/UFO games will always be too complicated for a Fortnite/Minecraft kid. They would do better if they remained in their niche of older but wealthy players.
This is the worse XCOM i have ever played doesn't feel like Xcom at all and the dialogues are so stupid. Aliens talking like humans and everything looks so cartoony a big MEH. Gears Tactics looks much more promising than this
According to IGN review, there are still some annoying bugs with the original version, may need to wait for patches after this. I don't want my hard-earn equipment goes missing afterwards, and unable to re-equip guns for the characters...
For those using Google Drive and can't use the old Make Copy Trick. Go to Shared with me section, select the files and hit shift + Z to add to drive. Then you can make copy as usual. Just found out today Google had changed the function last month. Shit.
WTF a snake dude as an ally? Hope he's got the annoying tongue pulling ability as well. -EDIT- Never mind, looks like he's got it! Now who's the boss! xD
Ah right, now I remember... I thought they were male because the "thin man" in the previous XCOM installment. Now that you mentioned the only male in the species... is it the one we fought several times in various operations in XCOM 2 DLC?
It's not meant as a full release (that is, like an XCOM 3) which is why it was announced only like 10 days ago. Speculation in my circle suggests it's acting as a test to see how various changes are received or it was originally meant to be a mobile game.
XCOM is still XCOM however bad it is. All of their games have yet to dissapoint me, and war of the chosen is absolutely masterpiece. We'll see about this
Yeah... As an old fan of UFO/XCom games, I strongly dislike this faggy and fortnite-y direction the game is taking. Old games were difficult, heavily tactical and were aiming for a climate of horror. New games are flashy and cartoony. Playing XCom:Apocalypse was like watching The Shining. Playing XCom2:WotC is like watching japanese cartoons. And I don't watch japanese cartoons. This is the first XCom game I'm most likely not going to buy. I'm willing to give it a try here. Maybe it will surprise me? Let's hope it does.
Also, IQ means jack and shit. The fact you think it does shows how little merit anything you say actually has.

A simplified version, no perma death, no base building, all premade chars, 4 personel per encounter
Mission lasts 10-20 mins will be repetitive at some point
Verdict: As XCOM fan, play it (playing as alien using their skills might be fun), but dont set your expectation too high
New to XCOM players just no, better play XCOM 1 and 2 first
Since this is a direct sequel to Xcom 2, lots of things is not explained assuming you already know them, like the elders, advent etc
