Among all low-poly racing games which have been released in the past few years (https://igg-games.com/formula-retro-racing-free-download.html, https://igg-games.com/hotshot-racing-free-724831271-download.html, etc), this might be the one which looks and plays the most like the original Virtua Racing. Your car even "drifts" the way it did in Virtua Racing, it seems.
But well, it doesn't bring enough content to rival the original game, I think.
