It's definitely a exploration platformer, a large map to wander around, and according to the trailer there'd be a map.
It's rare to see action games which doesn't use collision as damage, both you and enemy need to attempt to attack to actually hit. But enemy act as walls, you can't dash past, you must defeat or move around. Pixel art in general is pretty neat.
Not being able to remap keys is a major minus. Sfx is a bit muffled, and music is just ok-ish. Can't say the writing is good, and the main character's pixel art in the menu has a weird stance. According to steam reviews it has power balancing issues and character fragmentatioin (from being able to swtich characters but only the main character has double jump to navigate levels).
It doesn't say it's early access despite it has the feel of it. Take caution for investing time into it because it's possible there won't be fixes to issues.
