Excuse me for the admin and staff. if this video is not good, please delete it. I just share it. thank you ... Windbound is an action-adventure game where the player is shipwrecked alone on an uncharted island. They must explore, adapt and navigate the land and perilous seas to stay alive. PTPA It is very pretty, and also relaxing to play. Combat against wildlife feels a little "mushy," but you don't need to fight most of the time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkyX50scLqM
This game is quite a change of pace from the other survival type games right now. You don't stay in one place and build a base then survive for as long as you can, but just grab enough food and materials to make your boat a bit better and to ensure that you can top off your health and hunger when facing the challenges ahead. And while survival mode may put off some new players, you can switch to story mode, which is more forgiving, to learn the ropes. You can then switch to survival mode when you are more comfortable with the game. It's not without some problems of course. AI can be cheesed into position for safer hunting, bodies will randomly fly high into the air, and occasionally land on top of trees, denying you access to the spoils and robbing you of the arrows you used to hunt it. Some gamers also experienced crashes during the end (which I didn't suffer from, fortunately). I can see myself playing this game for quite a while, although I hope there will be more updates in the future, like an endless mode or an expansion of the crafting and survival aspect. Base building wouldn't exactly work unless the trees and some other resources respawn but that's up to the developers. I give it a 7.5/10.
Well, i played a good amount ( 3-4h ) and if anyone needs some feedback to judge better if it's fun or not, here i am. It's Cute Idea is little pioneered ( make sail is the closest i can say, but that game has more ship and no survival) Death mechanic is hard anyway you put it, on survival you get back to chapter 1 so ... you only get the things in your hand inventory(7 slots) On story you get everything you have minus the ship back to the start of the chapter. Still hard, the ship is a big part of your posesion. Combat may be a bit annoying, albeit ... it's fun to go around rocks and confuse the poor AI The art and music is pretty chill. The haters most likely only scratched the surface, chapter 1 is rough with your grass ship and sail, and stick spear but then chapter 2 gives you bambo islands ( new ship parts ) Chapter 3 gives you acces to new weapons that are awesome. That's all i can say, more would spoil it. One thing, you don't know all the recipes at the start, pick flowers, kill animals, dig, chop , mine... that unlocks new recipes. Idk how to put pros and cons ... i just wrote my personal experience with it.
No, it's diferent that the usual and people poke fun at it because they want to feel better. I wrote a little thinghy a bit higher in the coment feed, read it, maybe you will try it. It's smol game but fun!
Looks like Horizon Zero Dawn, Breath of the Wild, and Wind Waker had a baby and left a good bit of the technology out. Scratch that, after taking a closer look it just looks like BotW and Wind Waker had a defunct baby that used too many natural oils.

I've only watched some videos. The combat does seem awful, but there are many gameplay elements which seem fun.
