It has good ideas but the AP system for exploration turned me off. I was doing well during the battle at the beginning of the game then I failed a mission because I ran out of Exploration points.... My feeling https://data.whicdn.com/images/62175610/original.gif
some butthurt kid so i dont mind and the rng is ok as long its not unfairly unbalanced darkest dungeon has rng but not unfair like this where you looks like you are fighting op af enemies all the time thats not a coincidence now i dont know if they finally balanced this but probably not
The inevitability of failure could have been better represented than with just RNG rolls. For example, the game already has one good design, which is the inevitable rise of attrition and loss of morale across the districts. If something is going to be certain, then let it be represented in the gameplay as something that is certain - not as fickle RNGs.
well the enemies are better suposed to be trained soldiers and generaly better than you but it could have probably been better show with something else.
Well, my paramedic die from an event, now everything is hell. less healing more death to come. (btw paramedic passive healing is TOO op and if you do not have it later in your gameplay, you are dead, maybe.)
More like "german squad life" try to survive the onslaugh from berlin to warsaw then they go to paris and toward greece then russian land to stalingrad and fight the resistance then the US landing and finish with polish one to a last stand in berlin. As it has potential.
I Expect the same engine but instead going full conqueror following crazy superior order. Like evil side gameplay. Purging all resistance forces and so on.
Night time cityscapes are akin to those photographs they take of homes, using hyperbolic angles (in order to make them look more spacious), or a females' face via filters, like "FaceApp" 👈
I expected DESTRUCTION. AND JESUS ENTERED INTO THE TEMPLE AND CAST OUT ALL THOSE BUYING AND SELLING THERE, AND OVERTHREW THE TABLES OF THE MONEY-CHANGERS AND THOSE WHO SOLD DOVES; AND HE SAID UNTO THEM, 'IT IS WRITTEN, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER, BUT, YE HATH MADE IT A DEN OF THIEVES!'. (Matthew 12꞉21) ...and I got it.
This is all about. Imagine a calm, normal day. You wake up, have some coffee, give a kiss to your wife and children then go to work to work in peace, having a feeling that after work you can go back to your home and see your family again. And then imagine that this day the borders of your country, your homeland, were simply crushed by brutal force trying to occupy it because of one sick man and his sick ideology. Imagine that many of those husbands gave a last kiss to their families and never returned. Died not because they wanted to, but because they were forced to defend their families against something so sudden. I'm from Poland and I'm proud of it. I'm proud of those people and thanks to them today I can write this post and have a normal life. Their deaths and sacrifices will always be remembered because simply they are heroes who deserves to be remembered. That's just all I would like to say.
It's not that Germans were bad or good. They are normal people just like everyone. They were just following orders from sick motherf*ckers. I don't like when people say "Germans are bad because they killed many people during IIWW". Sure, probably in german army were a few psychopaths who enjoyed killing children but it doesn't mean that all german soldiers were like those abominations. At least we are all humans and many of them probably refused to following orders because of morality for example. And there were german soldiers who even kept helping people, for example Jews.
For the events even leading up to WWII, you need a pretty antisemitic public. Hitler didn't stage a military coup and hold the country hostage. While I wouldn't say all Germans are evil, they do have some responsibility.
thx for sharing, as a matter of fact I can imagine. My grandma was polish and fled the country to escape the nazis with her family as a child. the rest of the family could not imagine what would happen and most of them were lost in the camps

you totally depend of the RNG and most of the time its very unfair
and the rng is ok as long its not unfairly unbalanced
darkest dungeon has rng but not unfair like this where you looks like you are fighting op af enemies all the time
thats not a coincidence
