One of the best ever RTS of all time, if not THE KING of all them (played about a hundred, over more than 20 years). Lots of content, and AI top notch, doing many campaign unlocks dozens of different personalities as artificial opponents. Not many maps but the custom tech tiers and infinite AI(you can even create new AI from many settings) give enduring longevity. The interface/gameplay is forefront even at today, as the camera is very far, can be free, and the units cap can be set at 1200 per player, like Supreme Commander (created over 10 years later), and at that time only Ground Control 2 have similar quality, we talk about 2003, the era of the famigerated(shitty) warcraft3. ATTENTION the game have some bugs, one is gamebreaking (after around one hour of continuos play the game start corrupting in subtle ways, like a delsync) but there is a semi offcial patch, the 1.23 that fix and make balance very good.
underrated is understatement. i completely forget that it was on my old collection when i saw the title on the site and only remember after i see the spearman screenshot. i love that game lol
i suppose it didnt get much popularity because there was a lot of competition in the early 2000s age of empires 2, warcraft 3 and starcraft were on fire those years but i remember this from a friend who brought the game at school
Yeah it looks pretty cool, I definitely would have played it had I known of it then. The economy system looks cool. It's a pity it was so unknown (just found out about it 16-17 years later). If there was a remastered version it'd definitely be worth a buy/ to play, only issue is the screen sizes and what seems to be the ai lacking attack skills. Which is the biggest issue.

no no no no no no remasters man
that word just means trouble
i rather prefer to leave it that way
