Ubisoft, EA, and perhaps even Rockstar...all have resorted to releasing repetitive content or half-baked products, which is sad, since all these companies released gems in the past.
Though, some of the player base is partially to blame. As they say, "If you keep buying trash, companies will keep making trash."
Thats why I say long live the indie gaming industry. True creativity and content now only reside there.
What can you expect? They've already milked all of their classic version games in the Warcraft and Starfcraft franchise to death, so now they're trying to squeeze a few more "drops" of cash from this "Remastered" series. I wouldn't be surprised if the Starcraft games are "Remastered" next!
