Although it says win10 is the minimum, it actually runs on win7, at least for now. New games that still support 7 deserve compliment.
Sadly it requires quite some computing power that my low grade GT940MX cannot handle even on the lowest quality settings.
For my brief experience (and observation from letsplays), only obvious thing to criticize would be that because of the scale of battle (tens of thousands of units), camera angle and perhaps the color choice, the boundaries of things (building/grid/units) are not very clear. You can zoom in but then you lose the overview of the battle field.
It mixes deck building with RTS. Even if RTS is not my type it still looks quite interesting.
microsoft cant accept the truth that their newest windows are unoptimized garbage win 11 demands you to use newest hardware to work properly and yet it still have problems and honestly making OS who need demanding hardware requirements just to do basic things its not business but microsoft seems to be more retarded than ever and doesnt give a shit here where i live lots of supermarkets, schools, offices still use 7 and barely 10 or 11 some markets even still use Win XP
Bro, get a win10, you will find your PC magically becomes faster, because win10 is much more compact and more streamline in terms of a system. After microsoft try to get a pie on tablet with Win8, win10 is more friendly to low-end PC
I would even argue win11 is more efficient in term of a system on multi monitor or ultrawide monitor or multi-ultrawide flexible monitor like my setup, but you then need at least 2070 or 3060. Which in today may or may not be too expensive if looking for an upgrade.
It is only "garbage" if you use "1 monitor" with "1080 or 2k" resolution or a graphic card below 1060. anything above, you will realise you lack so many QOL stuff from a newer system. And even "1 monitor" with "1080 or 2k", win11 isn't bad per se, the core is the same the inital installed UI is more friendly to moble system like a tablet, but not like you can't change back to win10 with few clicks, so IDK why people hate. And win 10 is not more stable either.
Good luck with linux, it is a bigger jump than win to mac. 95% who try linux people will quickly switch back if they can't even tolarate to update to win11 from win10. A whole lot of problem you have never encounter, unless if you like tinker the system for few week. Then win11 is still argubly better than linux as inate system given no extensive modding.

went back to win 7 and runs perfectly
win 10 and 11 demands more but 11 its excessive and they dont give a shit if you have an old but fast enough hardware
i7 6th gen, 1080ti 16 GB RAM
its been updated many times with bad results
best its 10 altho next year will join with 7
(And there's forced telemetry on Win10, and Recall on Win11.)
My next stop is probably Linux with Wine should the fated day ever comes.
Thank you for the suggestions regardless.
