I downloaded the version from before the 5th and I play seated no problem. Maybe they made it a little more comfortable, but I doubt you'd have too many issues playing it how it is in this version.
all right you lucky pirates, i got the fix for walking, thank god to the nice people on reddit, im using a quest 2 with VD, so what you going have to do is google FFAIO download, disable antivirus , get the FFAIO v2.0.10 (No Trailers), install it, add a exception to your antivirus, will come with many shortcuts, what we want is vrl, open vrl, browse and choose the folder for wanderer, select link or vd in the boxes, run it, will give you two shortcuts for the game, i did vd so i choose vd plus steam shortcut, game works perfect

At the time tried everything to play the wizard.vr with vd. every time i got to see the vive wands with FFAIO v2.0.10 now the touch controllers of my quest 2. great!!
Good game the first time I tried. When I continued the next day though, I was in the ground and couldn't move. I tried restarting the game from the beginning where I wasn't in the floor, but I still couldn't move.
The first day, I couldn't move by teleport. Only normal locomotion worked. On the second day, neither worked.
I looked at the forums to see whether anyone else had my problem, but it seemed that it was only the case with the quest. I have an index :(.
I still recommend it for its fun puzzles that I got to do while it was still working.
Workaround that worked for me! (On Reverb G2). Rename your Oculus app (put a 1 behind the file name etc), and launch the game from Binaries/Win64. Should be something like Wanderer64Shipping.
I also have a Reverb G2. An Oculus HMD is something I do not use. I still cannot move or teleport even using Wanderer64Shipping.exe . Did you do anything else to make it work on your Reverb G2 ?

If you have Oculus installed, go to "C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-client". There you'll find an Application file called OculusClient.exe. Rename that to OculusClient1.exe or anything else other than the original filename. Wanderer will 'think' you don't have it installed and for me, it runs fine now. Very occasionally I still get the no-movement error, I just reboot my system and run the Wanderer-Win64-Shipping.exe file again and it's fine.

Anyone else having problems getting past the title screen? I can run the game fine, and see/move my controllers, but I can't press the start button on the first title screen. I've tried running Wanderer-Win64-Shipping. I'm on Vive Cosmos.

So the fix for me was to play the tutorial with the original Rift and switch back to the Index after the first autosave. In addition I need to run Steam for the knuckles to be detected instead of SteamVR only.
So for some reason the game detecting my oculus as vlve on virtual desktop and alvr so i cant move The only way was to play it through air link which is so bad Did any one manage to fix this issue?

you have to pick up the objects it says first then you can move fine.
