Specifically, instead of the ones below, they updated successfully but couldn't play game then. But from your log, the installer "couldn't update the game". ("valid integer..." error occurs when the program can't execute properly)
I don't know where the cause comes from, but it could be one of the following:
Are you installing the game on an external hard drive?
Do you have enough free space on your D:\ drive? at least 50GB, but I think in your case, leave 70GB free to be sure.

Yes, I have followed the instructions in the "HOW TO INSTALL UPDATE" section, but I still can't install it successfully. The game was also downloaded from IGG.

Specifically, when you see the installer displaying the message "Detecting version... Please wait...", do nothing. Wait for it to check your game's original files. After that, the message will disappear, now click "Start" button.
PS: That message will appear twice, once before clicking the "Start" button, and once right after clicking that button. In general, when it displays that message, do nothing, and make sure you only click the "Start" button once.
I think i know the true problem of all this. It will become error when you have no space left in storage. Usually i will left space in my storage everytime i want to install or updated games but last night i just updated my game with only 11gb in my storage. After delete some file make it to 50gb my updated succesful.
I tried not to install the crack before updating and it works. I guess the crack makes the update think some files are not available due to the crack changes. Also need 50gb storage on your game directory files for the update to works too.
TLDR: Do not install the crack yet if you want to install the update.
I download so many game from this site and other site as well, i know how to updated game. It just your update said your version is valid. If you force to updated cant open games after that.
Maybe I misunderstood you, but can I clarify? So the installer said the update was successful? and you just can't open the game after the update? If so, it's possible that your windows is missing the drivers needed to launch the game.
