Visual Novel Reader. It translates raw games (aka in Japanese). You get to adjust it to your liking and the translation isn't on point most of the time. So unless you have some solid Japanese background, you'll be in quite the pinch. For my part, I usually read the Japanese text and rely on my own reading cos the translator can suck so much XD "but" what's really good about VNR is that no matter how off the translation can be, it'll always give you the 'main idea' of any sentence in Japanaese. So it's 50/50: you'll get the core of a sentence most of the time and you'll need to back that up with your own Japanee background (I keep stressing the backgroud cos it's really needed. I've played so many games with VNR _I still do_and tho it helps alot, I always find myself relying on my own self-taught/learnt Jap)
Other than that, there are people who do translate some lines in a game so their translation is alot more accurate than google translate or any other.
