I really dont think it would hurt to have some competition against ETS2 but so far i dont see any game which got what it would takes, mainly as ETS and ETS2 have so many years of Development behind them from SCS Software, and what they all do for theyre games so
No competition is good, but I doubt this is competition. So that's the thing, a competitor should have; VR, good peripheral support, great graphics that don't kill perf, lots of trucks, new features, multiplayer, not a ton locked behind DLC's and more. Then you'll have great competition.
