for people who the game don't work .go to the release / bin folder there look for the protonlion. exe, make a desktop shortcut. then, in the desktop shortcut right click properties in the target space leaves everything exactly the same except that at the end and outside the "" you make a space and put" --pack --usedic --steam main "without the quotes. that should work with
How to install this? Or it's start diretly from the .exe? Asking because I try to start from the .exe but a window opens and thereafter closes, repeating the same thing if I try to start the .exe again. Could somebody explain what I have to do to start the game?
The game is not Early access anymore. Needs update regularly because they update it a lot. Seriously it's worth paying for it because there are updates almost every months now.
IMPORTANT!!! If you run the game directly from it's executable it will not work. The Desktop Shortcut the Installer creates has "--pack --usedic --steam main" appended in the "Target" Field. Without this, the game will not run.
Well, PLAZA as a group usually cracks games that may not be AAA/mainstream, and they're very good about cracking again for DLCs and major updates. As you can see, they did do two updates for this since their original release didn't work very well. But this game is probably low in priority for them since it's not that popular, it updates too often, and there's a working version released already.
This game is amazing. It's like X-COM but with more RPG element. There are so many different combination of unit build and you can pretty much min max everyone to your liking. The story kinda good too, almost like watching anime. They gave backgroud and character development almost to everyone, even the bad guy. The artwork is good too.
Guys, can u help me with this? after I mount the ISO, I try to install the game but it always got stuck around the data name JXTP65....., what should I do to complete the insatllation? thanks
For people who want to change language: For supported language codes goto "TROUBLESHOOTER Abandoned Children\Dictionary" you will see folders with language codes Open "TROUBLESHOOTER Abandoned Children\Locale\locale_setting.xml" with text editor Then you can just modifiy the "eng" in line ""
I also have this problem, the game only run only one time . Second time onward, it just shut down itself or didn't run anymore. I did't test without patch though
Okay, I found the solution. When you download from ISO, make sure to make a desktop shortcut and to run that instead. Otherwise, you need to run "ProtoLion.exe --pack --usedic --steam main" (not sure if this works, didn't test).
"... I'm not doing anything wrong."... you defend yourself a lot for not doing anything wrong =P I guess some drug dealers, serial killers, scammers and politics have their conscience clear too... =P If you belive you are doing "good", then this subject is finish... i just feel that your commet was a bit hypocrite and thats what trigger me, i kinda dislike hypocrisy, no hard feeling against you, have a happy life, and i'll try to be more friendly next time.
I suggest you go to main screen after every mission to force save and then backup your save. A simple crash or force close is enough to fuck up your save and all of your playtime. It is sad they haven't fixed this bug after such a long time.
NEVER connect to internet when playing it... i try to backup my saves and then restore it... it works fine... but EVERYTIME when i connect to the internet it corrupt the save file...
oh i see... what are you saying is people should go take a nice shirt from a store, maybe a pair of shoes, use it for a few months then decide if its worth to pay for it, or how about enter a movie theater watch some movies and decide if you should pay for it later... you could complain that my example arent the same thing, but they are the same in the idea. "USE a finished product and pay later IF you feel like paying"... if someone do that in both example it will probably be called a thieft... Many of us use this sites because cannot pay or dont want to pay, it is wrong that simple... i am not better... but saying you pay for some games you downloaded illegaly dont make you a saint.
No they're not. Producing a videogame that you sell digitally has a finite cost while each individual shirt costs money for the materials, the workforce, the logistics etc... Use proper arguments, logical fallacies are annoying as hell.
I won't act like they are saits but they do have a point, you can get a shirt or a pair of shoes and try them on it for a day some times an entire week and if you don't like them that much, and still have the receipt you can return them or change them in the store. Hell there is a reason you can do a test drive before buying a car and some times the company has long routes. Games are different, at least in services like steam, you have a 2 hour window to try a product and decide if it's entirely for you, take games like monster hunter, 2 hours are barely enough to leave the tutorial and get to hunt a monster and if you are slow it may not even be enough for that, you can't get a taste of the experiance to even decide if the game is for you and with a game that at least in my country may cost more than the food i need for 2 weeks, one can't simply just go in and bet that money.
Hello, yes i agree that 2 hours of test could not be enough for some games, but for some players 2 hours is more than enough to test some games, i have played games that could not keep me playing 30 min... but true maybe a little more time it will be nice, the problem will be with short games, some games have a life span of 4-5 hours, give then 1 day for test and you could finish the game that very day and ask for a refund, the system is not perfect but is something...
you dont realise how different it is compared to taking things from a store. both of those things are physical products you pay for and take away, the shoes and clothes actually exist, the store had to pay to get them there, taking those away makes them lose the money they invested. videogames? there is an infinite number of copies, they do not pay ANYTHING to create them, downloading games does not make them lose anything at all, if anything the potential money they couldve had if you bought it, however if you were never planning on buying it in the first place, they stand to earn more from you downloading the game for free, enjoying it, and either possibly buying it yourself or recommending it to others thus giving them free advertisement. It is nothing like stealing items from a store.
Hello, my point was not about what the people took away (eather a phisical object or a digital copy), or if it was hurting someone else profits... it was if its correct or incorrect. Anyway just think like this for a moment... lets say you invest around 500-1000 hours of your time making a game, then post it on sale on any plataform you like (steam, epic store, google play, etc)... then ask you the next question... How i will feel if i know that my game is getting pirated?... Maybe you'll feel a little angry, even if you dont want to admit it... you are not losing money since what they steal from you was a digital copy but that dont make it any less painful (well maybe a bit less), because you invest hard work on it. This scene is hypotetic... =) Do you think is correct for people to download your game for free instead paying for it?... If the answer is yes, then what the heck do you put a price on it, just give it for free from the beggining.
How do you actually run the game? Every time I try to run it I get a black screen and a loading icon in my mouse, I don't know if anyone else is having trouble as well
Seriously it's worth paying for it because there are updates almost every months now.
If you run the game directly from it's executable it will not work.
The Desktop Shortcut the Installer creates has "--pack --usedic --steam main" appended in the "Target" Field.
Without this, the game will not run.
When I open Protolion.exe a window pops up and then closes again.
Game: troubleshooter: abandoned childrens
steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/470310/TROUBLESHOOTER_Abandoned_Children/
But this game is probably low in priority for them since it's not that popular, it updates too often, and there's a working version released already.

it seems thats common with the new people here
Otherwise, you need to run "ProtoLion.exe --pack --usedic --steam main" (not sure if this works, didn't test).

I like teh style.
It is sad they haven't fixed this bug after such a long time.
I'm getting this even i return to main screen and quit from there. Any idea? I tried all backup save files and problem persists
since there is now no save file, start a new company, your only option.
you MUST return to title); KEEP THE GAME OPEN - DO NOT EXIT THE GAME!
you could complain that my example arent the same thing, but they are the same in the idea. "USE a finished product and pay later IF you feel like paying"... if someone do that in both example it will probably be called a thieft...
