Nope. I doubt it's a tribute to legacy games. PS1 and PS2 and other such old games had invisible walls because they were limited to 700MB and hardware couldn't load massive worlds like today. Plus why would anyone tribute invisible walls, I think everyone is happy enough with open world sandbox these days, invisible walls suck.
you can save anytime you want by hitting ESC then save game. the game is fun. its not a open world for you to walk around so the people saying you run in walls. thats due to you going off the path.
This game sucks, there's no autosave, invisible walls everywhere making it completely linear and blocking you from exploring. The help bubbles look like they were made in PowerPoint. I can't figure the game out because there's literally no hints. Not worth the 10GB and despite looking 'nice' it's definitely got it's flaws, I'm just not willing to spend anymore time trying to play it. Also, I'm pretty sure the reason the recommended specs are so high is because it's not very well optimised. Sure it runs fine on my 1080ti but the temps are very high and obviously for a game so BASIC it shouldn't require so much power.
