the old xbox days this was better than minecraft honestly there is a 2.9 version and it has multiplayer not sure how the crack for that is coming along but can't wait igg is great
If you look up in the game credits, it'll say that this game is inspired by Minecraft and Miner Dig Deep (an xbox indie game) and other things. So have fun playing the dig deep feature.
ok lets get this clear, this game may have inspiration from Minecraft, however this game was the "go to" for people who wanted to play Minecraft on console given the fact that it was released during the later years of the Xbox 360. to all who played it on the console can see the potential that this game has to come with all the features that are yet to be added and without the limitations to what the Xbox 360, the game will be able to expand beyond its previous release. this game is a huge nostalgia for people who played it before. i just bought it and its a little clunky at the moment but it was just released in December so give it some time.
Total Miner is older than Minecraft on the consoles, however Minecraft came out in 2009 and didn't join Console till 2012, Total Miner on the other hand didn't come out till 2011 :)
I dont understand why you upload games like this and games like Overwatch or injustice 2 are not here , even if the game takes more than 30 GB we can download it , it's going to take me three ours to download but it's stile worth it
Overwatch..... seriously? It`s a Multiplayer game + Injustice 2 is actually protected i think..... BTW they upload these kinda games because there is a huge demand for Indie games in the community.
and minecraft is a game the creator himself hates Notch said he hates how minecraft is because its just become a greed for more money the game became shit
Huh what is this? It looks like a 100% clone of Minecraft... But I'm reading it was already on consoles for years? Gee I never heard about it... And now I see some comments saying it's much better than Minecraft..? In what way though? You guys make me curious... lol Edit:
we can't change the keys in-game...
Animals have no animation...😲 They just walk around without moving their limbs... It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in a game... lol (is it a bug though?)
Controls don't feel as good as Minecraft, not sure why... It feels slippery or something.
When you destroy a block, it disappears only a few seconds after you destroyed it...😲
UI is confusing and... oh god, that weird scrolling effect thing in the settings... How could they think it was a good idea??? Oh... I just tried the "old menu" style and while the scrolling effect is gone, it's even more confusing than the new style.
Graphics are not bad(with original HD pack) if you like this style, but Minecraft + Shaders completely destroy it, obviously.... I assume this is very early access, hopefully? For now, it's simply terrible.
I think you misunderstand the nature of the game, you are supposed to use the zone/scripts/behaviours to create automation of rpg elements in your world and give it all sorts of micromanagaing conditional laws to abide by. It's really deep once you get over the learning curve, this is true freedom for a sandbox rpg game builder/server maker. When multiplayer comes out you can join randoms worlds and play other peoples worlds/games by the rules which they have set for them.
Hmmm well it did seem more complex than what I thought. I'll give it a try again tomorrow. I wonder how the script engine works, and if some rpg mods for Minecraft wouldn't be as good though... Personally, I always found the lack of goals in Minecraft the only big flaw. If it was possible to add quests in this game, now I would be interested.
my problem with minecraft is theres nothing its a boring waste of space that even notch himself says he hates the state of the game its just a money pit for Mojang now
It's possible to create quests with scripts, you can attach a "has history x" to a player and give out history x markers to players at will. Like a conditional check which only runs if the player has that said history which you are checking for. using IF Else Elseif Then Conditionals in your scripts, you can create an almost limitless amount of things. Alter shop prices, give out badges, reduce health, give health, edit player stats, add take/transfer items to and from their inventory, make text boxs and HUD displays and counters which can be synced to history counts, you can give them custom menus which pop up and give them pre set options of your choice. which would then run another script of your choice. This is hardly scratching the surface. I think one of the biggest misconceptions is that you are supposed to just run around and break stuff in this game. It's quite simply a total freedom voxel rpg sandbox, yeah its early access and there are some quirks and bugs which need to be worked out. But once you start learning the extent of what you can do with the script engine other games start to seem boring. I think most people who say it's a bad game just lose interest before they understand the gravity of options at their disposal.
alot of you i doubt even played this yet, i can assure you its not minecraft, plus this game has been out A very VERY long time, probably about the same time minecraft was out.
I kept reading about it on Steam and apparently it has some RPG features? Like leveling up, skill points and stuff? Unless I misunderstood... But well... We can install rpg mods in Minecraft, so... I'm not sure exactly what do we get with Total Miner that we can't get already in Minecraft...
Minecraft was released in 2011 along with total miner 2009 was the very early alpha of minecraft you people do some kinda research at all or do you just blabber all day
officially released in 2011 but this shows that minecraft came before this game, eather way idk but if u want to get triggered and start raging online about things like this go ahead
well its a copy ether u like it or not, minecraft was the first one to be placed in the market than a few years later it got officially released at the same time with total miner. minecraft being beta, it meant that not many people knew about it so it was total miner's opportunity to exist by extracting main concepts out of the beta minecraft and twisting them with their own idea. the main base of total miner is obviously the same as minecraft's showing that they actually did get the idea from there or miraculously thought up a extremely similar engine with a extremely similar type of user interface. this shows that total miner is most probably a copy and official release does not matter because everything they needed was already in the beta for them to create their own version of the game.
