Sadly this is one of those titles that just won't work on intel gpu's (and their drivers and the software surrounding them are bad too). I've been running into that problem quite a few times since it turned out that my old gpu (which I removed as it was a waste of watts) was slower than the igpu that came with the cpu. I loved to play around with this game from time to time, even more fun with a trainer to get unlimited time slow/freeze durations.
