I presume you are saying that it got bad reviews because you have to manually install updates but we have to do that because this is a pirated version. If you are meaning that all of those updates show it is bad well here is something that all games go through some worse than others. What happens is they all go through QA testing. That gets out most bugs (or as many as they can do before the release date) then after release as more people can play it resulting in them finding the bugs they couldn't and each update that is released more bugs can be found. Plus in each patch they added a few new features so they could cause bugs. IMO I'd say 75% positive reviews isn't terrible if it was 40% then that is terrible.
I'd suggest download IDM (Internet Download Manager) I suggest looking for a cracked version so you can use it forever not just the 30 day trail (reinstalling doesn't restart the trial) and use megaup as then you can download more than 5gb before having to wait 6 hours and you get your full internet speed.
I think its a fun game. Download/Install time was fairly short. The intro feels drawn out but its a fun storytelling game with interesting game play mechanics. 6/10
I downloaded the google drive version for 1.0.4 but the game version still indicates 1.0.0 and the no click response bug for touchscreens is still there
maybe wait for 1.0.4, a lot of folks are getting siren loading screens that wont transition into cutscenes bc the devs have made a diff quality cutscene (720p/1080p), im currently stuck gettin to November 25th
edit: after 10 tries, was able to transition into the dont beat your subordinates cutscenes, which was in a badish quality, sound messed up and stuff, thought it might be a miracle but after the cutscene bam sayonara, crash my dreams
Question: when i put the files from CODEX's Plugins into the "normal" Plugins folder and launch it, it display the following: Internal error 0x06: System error!. How do i fix this? EDIT-FIXED: All you have to do is go to your system hard drive (Usually C) under Users>Public and create a folder named "Documents" and inside that you create another folder called "Steam" So for example it should look like this : C:\Users\Public\Documents\Steam
Patch 1.0.2 ▪ You get rewarded more for arresting criminals and punished less for missing them. ▪ Professionalism requirements are lower for all missions now ▪ You starting team of cops is much better now ▪ Your cops don’t lose stamina points just for coming in to work, only for actually doing something ▪ Your cops fully recover their stamina after a day off ▪ Your cops don’t lose stamina points for responding to false alarms ▪ Tab prices for cops and equipments are revised ▪ Your cops don’t come up with excuses and stay home as often as they used to ▪ Your cops don’t drink as much as they used to
Even then the installer has a little check box that says "Copy contents of CODEX directory to installdir" and if you do check that box the installer automatically cracks the game for you.
Then I downloaded and installed all the updates in order.
