It ain't worth 29.99, but 14.99 would have been better. Yes its a remastered from the Original with a new paint job (visually) , but would have been better if it was a remake. Overall, good remastered, but nothing special.
Man this movie never gets old. Too bad the sequel was all CGI. Even though they had actually filmed the whole thing with practical effects, but some lousy producer had to cancel all that and replace it with CGI.
Well, in 2002 the electronic national league was still there. It was still fun to play then. Operation Flashpoint in the national league and the ESL. Everyone was friendlier back then too. And above all, you could still test games back then before you bought them. Today it's 'eat or die' and you have to download them here, for example, to test them. The best example is Diablo4, I would never have bought it if I could have tested it beforehand, that's for sure.
And this...well... It's the same junk as back then. Even back then, this was a title that you could easily leave behind. I only thought about it a few weeks ago and promptly got a remake.
The game has an interesting mechanic in it that plays off the movie. NPC's in the game are randomised on who the monster is, so you have a different play through and the concept of "who not to trust" from the movie is in the game.
