First of all, it's 'Five nights AT Freddy's'. Second, it's not scarier. It's got one heck of lore going for it that's for sure along with the VR game which turns it into an enjoyable meta-game.
If you want a good scare, go play Amnesia. If you want more of a walking simulator, there's SOMA. If you wanna shoot at stuff along the way, there's Dead Space.
