@For newbie: Don't forget crack before launching the game (otherwise you will get the "no license" error). By doing one of the following:
Method 1: before installing the game, check the following box:
Method 2: or after installing the game, open the iso file, copy everything in the "RUNE" folder, then paste them to where you installed the game, enjoy ;) (see tutorial image here if you still dont know: https://igg-games.com/how-885614657-to-install-game-and-update.html)
Your kind don't seem to understand the argument being made, probably due to poor pattern recognition. That's why you keep coming up with the same false equivalence argument of downplaying (subtle) propaganda as a "depiction of reality".
So, I've been playing this game for a while now and I can say the wokeness is so far pretty much limited to the diverse bunch of characters at the police station and high amount of women who are criminals or cops. But you don't run in to the latter that often. I've seen this in other games, where it seems like they have set a certain percentage of cops or soliders to spawn as women. Last game I remember doing this was DeuSex: Mankind Divided, where over half of the czech police force consisted of women. Not sure if it's 50% in "The Precinct" but it's definitely in the "I can do what a man does"-territory. The helicopter pilot of the police station, for example, is a woman. What a coincidence.
[SPOILER] [MINI REVIEW]
update: Just finishing the game. There are basically two leaders present in the police station. One is Kowalski, the chick in white on the left (see picture above), the other one is Chief so-and-so, the black guy. Turns out he is corrupt and gets replaced at the end of the game. By another woman. LOL!
The rest of the game is a daily loop of going on patrol, either issuing parking tickets, spotting speeding vehicles or just keeping an eye out for crime in one of the unlockable districts. In either case you'll always run into trouble that had nothing to do with the original "mission". One minute you are issuing a ticket for parking to close to the crossing, the next moment you're in a gun fight with a gang, using automatic weapons.
Although it's mostly fun, the game is also hilariousy broken mechanically and balance wise. Playing with V-Sync seems to fuck up the camera, so I had to turn that off, first.
The handling of the standard police car (there are different types) feels stiff and usually too slow in comparison to anyone you're chasing, regardless of the type of vehicle they are driving. The pursuits feel mostly scripted as the AI can accelerate to full speed in a second and cut corners like they're all professional race car drivers. After a while you learn how to manipulate the chase a bit, but in general it doesn't feel good or organic.
The AI also generally behaves like a maniac when driving. Combined with the wonky, lightweight physics you get into all sorts of messy situations, with cars flying all over the place or you shoving them around on your hood. If the AI is not perfectly cutting corners they are wreaking havoc like on a rampage, no matter the crime, plowing through traffic like it's nothing. They do eventually get stuck or caught, but it usually starts with them going HAM first.
The thing that irritated me the most is the broken crime detection mechanics. Essentially you can farm criminals everywhere and in various ways. You can, on a regular basis, just walk up to people that you feel are criminals and will come up with some kind offense, wether it's carrying narcotics, illegal weapons or being wanted. This renders what feels like at least 30% of the pupoulation a criminal. It's the same when you're in a car. Scanning license plates will result in finding somebody wanted in no time. So you can either just preemptively go around and scan or search everyone to find offenders.
The AI reacts to the siren and will often flee if they are secretly guilty of something. Besides that there is the siren 'blip' which is usually used to stop someone in front of you if you see them commiting a crime, like littering or worse. The issue is: You can spam this shit like crazy and just drive around and weed out criminals from traffic like you're fishing. And again, the ratio is way too high. So you end up driving around, blip-ping away and in no time someone in front of you will be identified as a criminal and either stop or try to flee the scene.
Another funny thing you can do is, what I call "insurance fraud". You basically toss yourself in front of a speeding car and then charge them for the "vehicle accident" crime . It's hilarious, but not always easy to pull off. Last time I tried it, most of them were doing "hit and run" on me, though. I tell you, this city is full of crazies.
Another weird "exploit" is the shout function. It allows you to lower the 'resistance' fugitives have when you chase them, either on foot or in a car. If it goes to 0 they will give up. You can essentially spam it endlessly to end chases, because there doesn't seem to be a proper resistance mechanic that simulates how people would actually behave in this situation, based on their character, type of crime or state of the pursuit. Shouting just lowers their resitance continously, regardless. So as long as you're in reach you can just keep spamming that motherfucker and eventually they'll just stop and give up, because you have such a confident, compelling voice.
This type of behaviour or lack of attention to detail can be seen in the game world in general. Besides hurting or killing civilians, nothing you do as a cop is of real consequence to your XP or reputation. You can destroy the whole city, ram cars that often fly around like cardboxes, fire guns at will, traffic rules don't exist. You can basically harass everyone as you please. In some way are just another criminal in uniform.
This inconsistency also shows up in the way you handle criminals and how you report your crime. When examining people and their cars you are supposed add the found offenses to a list and then act accordingly, which means arresting or fining the criminal. This action is tied to earning or losing XP, because of you making either right or wrong decisions here. But at some point the devs must have added the ability to let your partner do all the paperwork. This essentially circumvents all of the work and the uncertainty that comes with it because your partner always nails it 100%. It's two clicks instead of 12. Again - what were they thinking? Maybe I'm missing something.
[TL DR]
Overall the game kinda fun to explore and mess around with, especially because it's free, arr.. The gameplay loop is decent, but it's nothing too get hyped up about. It kinda feels like miniature GTA 2.5., but as a supposed "good" cop.
I'd probably give it 6/10. "A for Effort". Graphics are kinda nice.
It's not a requirement, it's recommended. Basically the least you should have what they would deem hardware for you to play with maxed out the graphic settings, while the minimum specs are what you would at least need to run the game at all. There is a difference and it's an important one.
You need to fly to the spot where the car is last seen multiple times until an you see an moving point on your minimap. Then follow it and you find the car. Its strange but it works
broski go into the game list and just search their library for almost any game you want to play. download it onto a virtual machine or however you play/test/whatever.

We can play as white policeman beating black people for no reason
GOTY
requiringrecommending an RTX 2060. Modern game devs are cooked.Still, needing a 2060 for something that looks like it would run on a PS4 is still pretty bad. "Max" settings included.
