@roosevelt2362 the premium content is not present in this due to the INI from tenoke missing that stuff, (files are present so its a simple fix).
to unlock DLC content (skins/guns/armor)
-edit- just download from IGG now, and support the site. removed link
if you want to "manually" add this stuff yourself after downloading the game then just open the ini file located in TheOuterWorlds2\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\Steamworks\Steamv157\Win64 (tenoke.ini) and under [DLC] add it should look EXACTLY like i typed it below! Once you add this in, click "file, then save" and close it out!
last edit- yes, " " " " " " " " stays on there, copy/paste that's it! [DLC] 3729850 = "The Outer Worlds 2 - Digital Artbook & Soundtrack" 3729860 = "The Outer Worlds 2 - Premium Content" 3729880 = "The Outer Worlds 2 - DLC Pass" 3729910 = "The Outer Worlds 2 - Commander Zane’s Battle Pack" 3938110 = "The Outer Worlds 2 - Pet Tie-in" 4055350 = "The Outer Worlds 2 - Pet Tie-in 2"
Wait for global release ???, nah dude, all you need is IGG and its all free so no money to greedy Microsoft win, win. Damn i love games with no Devilnuvo. Another UE5 game but this one run fine. PS: download file size-84,3GB,game file size-84,1GB. SSD preferded.+still no dual wield:/
Got around SAVE GAME not working. You need to manually create folder for saves as game doesn't do it for some reason here: "C:/Users/me/Saved Games/TheOuterWorlds2".
Not sure whats the cause, I saw more people have problem with it on net. Autosaves dont happen and manual save was just grayed out. I tought it was because of prologue but it was not. I lost few hour of playtime...
Hey thanks for helping out.. how about shader compiling?? Mine was slow everytime i launch the game.. usually second launch didnt happen to the game but this game does take long time to load.. btw im using amd gpu..
gpu doesnt change shader compile times. what did you install this on, an NVME, 2.5in SSD, or "HDD"? that will change how quickly this takes in most cases. a few other things can factor, but storage is the biggest part of it.

take a look at the torrent link up above, it tells you this is a tenoke release (at its base/release version). So it shouldnt have any issues updating. sometimes save locations can change if the update uses a different crack. but its an easy fix in most cases.
For new players who, like me, aren’t familiar with cracked games: you need to download and install all update patches in order, from the oldest to the newest, instead of just grabbing the latest one. That’s because each patch only contains the data that was changed from the previous version.
Wait. Isn't this the game that has a strong anti-capitalism message, but the product itself was gonna be sold the same Nintendo capitalist pricing of $80? XD
I haven't tried the full game yet, just the demo and also watching some YouTubers I frequent play it.... poorly. But for what it is, story wise is the big seller obviously. Gameplay, it's has some changes and the battles are of a higher quality.; so yeah, it does feel a bit Fallout-ish, but way more hyper.
Is it worth $80? Hell no. No game should be; not even GTA 6 whenever that comes out. The fact that they saw greedy arse Nintendo do it with their Switch 2 games and tried to piggyback off of it is deserving of the flack they got now that I know for sure that this is the game that did it.
Game ran fine. It seems well-optimized. Never saw slowdowns / stutterings. ANd didn´t feel the need to use Frame Generation. And game didn´t crash yet. GG.
I like the game mechanics, but like every game with UE5, its performance in open worlds is awful. It's as if any game with a map larger than 500 square meters is doomed to freeze or crash every few minutes. I hate this graphics engine. I thought the problems would stop when I upgraded my old RTX 4080, but even my new RTX 5080 isn't enough.
its strange, i see alot of people talk about this games performance when they use a 5000 series GPU. but personally im on a 4070ti/5800x and at 1440p, high/max settings no RT or up scaling i get 60fps pretty consistently. i am at the point to where i can "make two factions work together" if you made it quite a way into the story at this point.
Okay, i have a question, have people who upgraded their windows to 25h2 managed to play this game? For me it just never opens despite getting it from here or other places, if anyone has any idea why my game doesn't open and stays in task manager i'd appreciate, cheers and have fun for the ones playing
win 11 25h2 here, plays just fine on my pc. have 20hrs or more at this time. EDIT- not only can i play this, i am also playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey without issues. -without modifying anything/downloading extra stuff... considering your a 2 year user here, id have to assume you know about adding exclusions, and ensuring you have proper drivers installed. its also viable to check see screenshots make sure your settings arent much different and you have most of these drivers installed, and up to date.
Good evening, I’m having trouble downloading update 1.0.5.0. I’m supposed to place it in the game’s root folder, right? If so, should it detect the .exe file?
Can anyone help? I've extracted to the Rom step but when I try to run setup.exe it just keeps telling me "this app can't run on your pc. To find a version for your PC check with the software publisher" I've updated drivers, have my virus protection off and tried running it in an older compatability mode but I keep getting the same pop up. Running latest version of W11 .
setup a Folder exclusion for where this games downloaded, and where you plan to install it to. In your antivirus software exclusion list. you should also turn OFF Smart screen filter. although you should be able to install once you setup the folder exclusions. if this is on (image attached) turn it off. Windows Smart screen would be the other thing to check as it does this quite often.
however, are you sure you downloaded the correct files? if you downloaded "direct download" (parts) you should have 4 parts, which you would use winrar or 7zip to extract, then either mount the ISO using a 3rd party mounting software, or (use winrar) and extract the ISO itself. -i ask if you downloaded the right stuff bc you might have downloaded an ad which you would NOT WANT installed!
I received an error after installing the update. I need to know the version to understand whether the update is installed or not. Where can I find out?
edit- i lied, there's one place i am able to see "where" the game's latest updated version is. in the games main directory, microsoft game config (open in notepad). P.S. when updating, turn on "backup" mode. takes double the space, and can take longer to update. but itll revert without you needing to reinstall if something goes wrong. you dont from what i can tell, it doesnt show in the game's main menu, settings, or in game. checking details on the games launcher and the "winshipping" launcher too shows the same thing it did (before) i updated. so, if you had an issue its likely "your not updated" and you'll need to reinstall.
This is released from the scene, it never has viruses. You see the name of this release "The.Outer.Worlds.2-TENOKE", it's not mine, I just re-uploaded it from SCENE, in this case the TENOKE team (you don't need to search their website, since it's not public on the internet, websites you find are known to fake and use the names of groups at SCENE).
What is Scene? you should search the wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warez_scene) and google about this, they will explain it better than me. In general, the scene is decades old, certainly older than you (and me). It is completely safe. All the pirates you download from the internet, including movies, games, software,... are mostly leaked from the Scene. In other words, most uploaders re-upload from SCENE. If SCENE uploads the virus, then it will surely be the end of pirates.
In case you want to check exactly if these files are valid, you can use predb sites, for example: https://www.srrdb.com/browse/category:pc/order:date-desc/1. You use some popular software like 7z to get the CRC-32 hash of the ISO file you just downloaded, compare it with the information on predb site, if they match then you are safe.
I know what scene releases are..I used to be part of that 15 years ago. Was just suprised that it got flagged since never had one flagged before on here that I have downloaded..plus have 2 kids that download from here and they never had one flagged. Just wanted to make sure that it was either just me or a fake..
There have been dozens of scene releases that have been flagged as viruses in the past few months, due to updated AV databases, which often have cracks tagged. Anyway, you can always check the validity of the files by CRC codes, matching them to the scene database pages I listed above.
BTW, even Goldberg emu, a popular open source, is tagged with dozens of false positives

edit- combat is "kind of" like fallout 4 but not quite?
but to be fair, i had zero issues like most people had.. hell i never even had a t-pose and i played 14hrs launch day. (remember it well lol)
