Thanks for upload. The game is nice but is poorly optimized, it's barely playable on a 2080Ti in 4K at max settings. Also, the fixed camera sucks, this game can be so much more with a free camera.
"Never-seen-before and officially patented gameplay that plays out across two worlds displayed at the same time." So...It's like Soul Reaver where you can shift between the different planes and things change right then and there during your shift? Also, you know, Silent Hill...especially the later ones where everything legit shifted in real time rather than via cutscenes where you were unable to move.
Like this on the game shortcut: Just add: -dx12" At the end of the Target Something like this: "E:\The Medium\Medium\Binaries\Win64\Medium-Win64-Shipping.exe" -dx12" Yes, you have to add the " at the end, or it'll not work
Guys I tried downloading this torrent from KAT, a 18.79gb file (supposedly from CODEX) or something and it failed installing so I got the 32gb one. But ever since i'm getting weird video problems. Like Steam stops working, youtube videos crash and even games crash. I tried reinstalling nvidia drivers but things are still buggy and weird. Like a tab showing stuff from another tab on chrome. Age of Empires II DE just crashed on me which never happened...
this game is amazing i almost finished in 1 sitting, i think. i played alot. non stop. ty for the up-load i am at the water tanks right now. under the red house
Regarding Mr. Davs: "Clearly this discussion got out of hand. You said in one of your comments "Thanks for the game, it's too bad that it wasn't really any good though." This dude said "Another boring trash triple A that looks like shit and have high requeriment's (sic) for no reason." Now tell me which comment might someone who is really wanting to play this game take offense at. Sure, the game is mediocre, and I agree! I've played better. But when people post comments like that, it a) Not only is unnecessarily hostile, it's just a fucking game. b) Intentionally steers people away from downloading the game who MIGHT have actually enjoyed it, seriously piss me off, since it's incredibly excessive." They aren't paying a blasted cent for a game like this, and they REALLY should learn the definition of gratitude, which, you, Mr. Davs, surprise surprise, seem to know, judging by your comment.
No, you're NOT READING between the posters lines. He is more upset that his toaster can't run the game then he is at the game play itself, so he is attacking the game's core gameplay because that's the only ammo he has, its not like he is going to blame his setup. The venom he unleashed, tho targeted at the game, he was really just throwing a 5 year old's tantrum because his toaster couldn't run it.
Anyone else noticed an increase in these brainlets that get salty about people critiquing a game performance and then go off to act like they are millionaires that can just buy 4 RTX3090 to run the game? Lmao
No, just an increase in stupid posts like this. Also, fool, my laptop costs $4000 and is STILL considered 'cheaper' than the best on the market. If you can't afford $4000 and think that only millionaires can, then either a) You're an idiot, or b) You're an unemployed tool and and idiot. Either way, sir, you're an idiot.
I struggle to understand how the concept of exaggeration for the sake of emphasizing a point is so incredibly lost on you. The real question here, is why anyone that can afford to purchase multiple RTX 3090's, would feel the need to pirate games....
Had you just stuck with this comment, you would have been good. I wouldn't have criticized it, since you didn't seem to intentionally trying to prevent others from trying it/dampening their enthusiasm regarding this game. THAT is my problem, since I only criticize those who do that because they're fucking bullies.
So far I've only played to the 3rd scene where iam getting chased by MAW. my biggest issue with the game and that I can't change the controller. iam right handed and having to use the left joystick. Iam playing on PC using XBOX live, so the game is FREE. but I like the game otherwise so far
This game is fairly easy to use with just a keyboard.. WSAD and Shift to Sprint got me through that on the second try, the first I was swarmed by those damn moths.
i just beat it. it's a decent game but the gameplay, stealth, and puzzles are all very simple and lack any challenge. the story and characters are also underdeveloped. still worth playing though.
Is simple Bros that thing dont looks any close a AAA game another lie I'm see better indies games. I'm only have to thank to sites like that that give the chance to test these games Mainly right now that will rise to 70 dollars..
what a disappointment. Walkarounds are not fun. Outlast was great but very annoying to a veteran player of many games and oldschool games going back to ps1 with games like SH and RE 1+2. I did! like Blair Witch but I think that style worked because in so many ways, you cant fight back against these things and even if you could kill one, you'd be dead so fast. So in games where you could conceivably fight back specially Outlast, but don't.. it's just annoying and stupid and forced. As much as I disliked Alen Wake at least you fought back in a limited capacity with the flashlight and flaregun. Alien Isolation, thats how you do that but also it had combat here and there, a way to feel like you're not so helpless as the character or devs choose to make you feel.
I assume your computer has an 'uninstall' feature? Just uninstall the game, and save your bad reviews for people who share your mindset, not those who might actually look forward to playing this game.
You are the minority when it comes to your dislike of such games. Everyone has their tastes tho. Games like the Outlast Series, Amnesia series, Layers of Fear, Soma, Visage, Someday You'll Return, Song Of Horror, have a pretty big fan base for not having any combat. I can see why you would be turned off tho. When I first played Amnesia, I HATED the fact that I had zero ability to defend myself but then it made sense that these types of games, the "monsters" are "Other Worldly" and conventional methods of protection are out of the question. What makes Alien:Isolation so god damn awesome is the fact that, just like the movie, the alien is pretty much indestructible BUT you do get to fend it off in ways that where also depicted in the movie(s), that and you CAN kill NPC's too. If you haven't played Soma yet, give it a try. The story is mind blowing and the writers should deserve some type of an award for one of the most creative story arc in a setting and plot device that has been done before, but god damn did they breath fresh air into pure wicked SciFi/Body Horror.
Looks like lots of people are disappointed by the game cuz they thought it was gonna be more like Silent Hill (probably cuz of world switching mechanic and Akira Yamaoka attached to the game), but if you played other games by Bloober Team like Observer or Layers of Fear, you kinda knew what to expect.
You're right they also made Blair Witch, the most mediocre horror game I've ever seen come from a studio like them. This game wasn't any different compared to their usual stuff.
yeah thats what i saw when watching someone play this for an hour. game seems to be more of a investigation and only so few jump scares. it had silent hill and horror game vibes..thats just it

Thanks for reminding me of this game.
Dear Esther: Landmark Edition, for example, was amazing. As was Alien: Isolation.
