Game is pretty fun for factory players but keep in mind it has quite a few bugs, a painful lack of QOL and expected features from the genre, and some tough gameplay punishment that isn't too fun for people that really want to optimize and expand a big factory. (Extremely painful to rebuild anything in your factory as you are constantly in need of every bit of resource you can wring out of your factory to stay afloat with the market, contracts, and story timeline. You simply can't afford to delete structures and wait forever to make things again the way you want, have to haul all the resources dropped to the ground, loss of currency from rebuilding logistics, so on. Can be promising as the devs are frequently updating the game. But there are also many many bugs from small to save bricking.
One tip I'll leave that nobody (not even the game) bothered to explain : Don't put beds in a room with any other objects or your colonists will refuse to sleep. Could be the oxygenator, farms, not sure. cpu expansion is ok in bedroom. They didn't even care the room wasn't fully built and slept fine in a room with no oxygen lol.
You can also expect to frequently fail commissions, it is hardly balanced for you to be able to succeed at them all even if you know exactly what to do. After a while progressing, you will get the entire list of ~30 factions offering a slew of constantly rotating contracts and from that point you have good freedom in how you progress, other than story missions.
And the soundtrack is really quite impressive, way more effort than I would ever expect from a game in simulation genre with vocals and everything.
This, or you must undervolt or underclock your CPU. Sounds weird but its a common problem with UE5 Engine + Dx12 and OC CPUs. And yes, i mean CPU not GPU. If u dont believe me, google it. U will find a doozen Articels and even a statement from Nvidia. Had the same problem with my 13900k.
the release version seems to have a bug where if you a save for too long, it will just crash 😅 hoping to get an update (and that it's fixed by the devs😅 )
