I played for about 9 hours. Although there is a lot of nurture content, overall it is not very interesting, especially the feedback on sound effects is very poor. I can't feel the growth process.
(eg: the town is completely silent no matter what you do level up or something , just like a web game. Monsters die without any sound; only the background music is playing. It's even worse than Warcraft )
I played "Kairosoft's Dungeon Village" on my phone, which is simple, fulfilling, and very fun. In summary, it focuses too much on nurture details but fails to deliver the fun of the nurture process and battles. It's a pity for this game.
Thanks to IGG for sharing and allowing me to experience this game
I mean that just sound? What if someone can't hear for 1 reason or another (rather they ahve to play on mute or a mute themselves), does that mean they can never be able to enjoy anything ?
Semi joke aside, as I think/assume you were just saying sound is very important to you personally. I think you could continue giving the game a bigger chance if you really like this type of game and did not get far. You get the fun little adventures talking to each other thanks to chatgpt (though the arrow tower is repeated a bit much :D ), the standard speech bubbles above them and the villagers, and really grow a good size town with a good variety of stuff and deco and get to see a fairish bit of little things like them sitting to eat.
You also got a LOT of variety in their classes/race (especially assuming you get dlcs working or got game from elsewhere to get them working and these also can change somewhat based on a couple things) like a witcher + druid thing + fallen angel with wings + the standard 4 + android + werewolf + vampire + whatever else all at once that you can then give them a mount (a few special ones beyond horse even, that you can also breed to make more).
Too me, the only thing it missing is adventurer relationships including what I find important and would be huge if it could incorperate not only gameplay but the chatgpt is being able to make them form a more permanent party beyond just a quest/task (although I think this was/is planned to some small extent but maybe not implemented idk) and then of course just being more issue free/complete as even a couple buildings are still in chinese and a couple things even says not yet implemented (why I am wondering if party will be made and if more little animation things might be). O and 1 indirect issue, as it more on this type of game more then game itself, is it is a massive time destroyer where time just vanishes playing it, when could play something else. And it seems to be a massively long one, so just thinking how much time it could destroy is a bit much. I also just wish they toke the character traits (as many as possible not just their race/class or as game says bloodline, but like their courageous or lazy or friendly etc...) into the chatgpt though I can understand that is asking too much.
But there is some good fun moments that you won't see elsewhere that I know of is all I am saying, like watching the major variety take on their first boss and struggle, and seeing some of their more interesting random talks. Like the first time I placed down a tavern and they all booked it to it saying how awesome it was to finally have a tavern and then complained there were not enough seats for them :(
This has all dlc locked ie no dlc And this seems to be because they keep having issues with uploading their game and its dlcs, even telling people that bought it before can get it free but they have to maybe figure out how themselves along with maybe go to their discord to unlock them (which I think is igg part of not knowing and just assume it has the dlcs idk, especially since apparently even the original you had to go to steam dlcs and enable them manually, though this does have 1 tiny part of a dlc working it seems which adds to the confusion ie Wind God is selectable in adventurer/character creation and according to dlcs that is part of dlc but all the rest is still missing)
Game apparently had issues where it had copyright material so they had to relist they also a chinese group that do not handle english to well.
Game Does seem promising and trying to play it, currently having no dlc and graphic issues so trying to get those sorted out (downloading another version maybe the version before the copyright from elsewhere) see what happens.
To Fix Blurr Copy these 2 lines to the Engine.ini file under Appdata (user local) folder: [SystemSettings] r.Streaming.FullyLoadUsedTextures=1
Dragon island Seems to cause missing Textures idk if this dlc related but seems possible.
If antivirus stops temporary files I think that ok (maybe some Chinese scam thing idk, I allowed 1x on accident does not seem to do anything as I then let them be quarntied though obviously need steamapp file if it quarntines it allow it)
Also I suggest going elsewhere like a certain fit girl they have the version before the reupload game so 2.2 instead of 2.4 or something but this one seems broken with all dlcs missing basically.

manually save every so often as it will crash eventually
do not speed click especially on things that are set to auto do for you as this will crash it (Like set armor shop to auto put armor in then manually do it also to same armor ie beat the auto to the punch by 1sec)
Pause regularly BUT keep in mind game paused will not register what you doing until unpaused (like queing things will not even show up until unpaused)
use Cheat Engine to cheat your starting points (go to new game click something that has a cost then do 4 byte by that cost search 2x -> so like click a 5cost bonus then search 5 then click a 10 cost bonus and search 10 then click that and do -9000 or w/e and activate)
Make sure you set homes for adventurers asap and do what you can to get your premium heroes homed asap before they eventually leave (NOTE there is a very limited amount you can house)
make sure you find out which buildings are meant to have multiples as there a reason for that like kitchens, need them turning out a lot of food and therefore a lot of kitchens (sadly some are limited to just one in which case upgrade and set workers into it as best as possible)
Just enjoy the game this game is a massive time sink destroyer and casual (especially if you cheat and get all the starting stuff)
also fyi/warning I would strongly suggest not using cheatengine beyond that point because I read a few posts the game can get easily confused like say you need to still get 500 of a resource or w/e and not register them ever again or maybe even crash (Idk personally never tested or anything) But having most or all the starting bonuses is beyond more then enough any ways, the only thing you will not be able to do for long long time without it is basically the auction house since things in there get crazy expensive, some go to unreal unbalanced levels and most of it just not worth it. And of course you will need to be constantly telling your buildings to make stuff instead of cheating them in, but o wells. (I think auction house unlocks at like level 6)
decent game, but it seems to update a lot (which from what i saw on the forums can break saves?) imo i'd hold off until they aren't doing daily updates
I know translating from Chinese isn't an easy feat, but I can't deal with games that are inconsistent in how they translate the same phrase as early as the tutorial and the in-game menu the tutorial references.
