There seems to be a piracy check in the game that disconnets the controller and opens the TEVI steam page in your browser. Did anyone have the same problem?(It's fine in chapter 1. The problem starts after a while in chapter 2)
would it be funny if they're actually reusing the same anti-piracy technique from rabi-ribi by unlocking too much dlc aka. there's one or several dummy dlc that if you unlock it with external tool, it will spam the store page and disconnect any input control
Seems to have some sort of anti-piracy measure, can anyone confirm? Walk into the mines, get a couple rooms in, the game starts spamming "controller disconnected" even if no controller is in use, and eventually opens a couple tabs of the game's steam page in the browser.
Just me?
Edit: according to the person above me, it may just trigger a certain amount of time into Chapter 2 regardless of where you are
Unfortunately, this is not a Touhou themed game. Perhaps it could have been such a commercial game if the dev licensed the characters from Jun'ya Εta (Fan made, free games do not require a license). Also, the cat maid girls in this game could have been modified to look like Chen if the dev stuck an extra tail on them and had them each don a bright red dress~! Perhaps a fan will create a Touhou mod for this game. π πΊ
Like the old saying goes, "Don't knock something until you've tried it.", Smegma Male! You may just like it.
There are a bunch of Touhou games on this site (See here) and a strong fanbase of people from many walks of life, so the demand is there for games based on Project Touhou~! So, don't be shocked (Or post a picture of an anime girl who's shocked). Besides, you're the one who mentioned "Tewi". π
played the demo until the end and have to say that this game has its own charm like it's predecessor "Rabi Ribi" The metroidvania part of this game still is very good to enjoy and discover
if I had enough money, I might've bought it day one
There's yet another anti-piracy measure included here, in Chapter 5 or so there's a chain of blocks you are supposed to blow up to proceed in the Gloamwood. In this copy, the chain is broken so you cannot proceed any further.
I assume you proceed the chapter 5 using a path from The Relict or Copperwood? If yes, Those are the wrong paths. You need to start from Gloamwood teleporter or Ana Thema, go to northeast and then utilize the double jump to proceed to Ulvosa. You can only destroy those blocks from this path.
For those who are having Anti-Piracy issues (Indicated by "controller disconnected" message spam after reaching chapter 2 or 3 which then redirects you to steam page that mocks you for pirating)...
I believe that guy must be using the wrong path. Those blocks are not supposed to be destroyed from wherever he came from (presumably from The Relict or Copperwood.)
Will there be problems after this?
I'll just wait for fix then lmao
Thanks for sharing, IGG! This looks like an intricately mapped, yet fun Metroidvania game to play!
