The Developer swears the game he has created is the best one ever made, but the sorry state of his code begs for a much needed reassessment of his claims!
For everyone for who the game isn't starting up: It's doing something with the internet before it launches(takes entire bandwidth) but if you disable your connection for a moment it's going to just launch and will not try to renew the download/upload/whatever it's doing. TLDR: disable internet before launching it, enable afterwards. Repeat every time you want to play.
My comment is gone so I'll write it once again. It seems to be writing a LOT to C:\websymbols\combase.pdb, and other subfolders in websymbols directory. One of the files is named download.error and seems to be rising very rapidly in size whenever I let it download for a moment.
