Supports VR play only. Does not support standard play. Don't have a VR headset? You can try to play this VR game with a Google Cardboard (Or a copy-cat clone) viewer, an Android phone and VRidge (freeware)! For more details, see my post. 05/27/24 - Update VRidge has now gone commercial (The latest version is now being sold on Steam). However, you can still download an older version for free or try another freeware alternative like ALVR (Download here ALVR works on some, but not all smartphones). Don't have VR controllers? You can try to play this VR game with two mice using Driver4VR. See demo video on YouTube. Not sure which "cardboard" headset to buy? Check out the following buying guide: "10 questions to ask before buying a Google Cardboard VR headset". Hesitant about playing VR games due to the current fact that not all games support all VR headsets? Then see the post concerning an effort to standardize support for all VR headsets by all games through OpenXR! (You may need to refresh the page as the linked comment may take a while to load up in the page). There is full English support via the English interface, English audio and English subtitles!
Playing VR games on a cardboard with two mice can't possibly even be a good experience, if you can't even get the quest 2 or something, surely you find some friend that you could borrow a headset from for a few days. There are not even that many VR games for people iwth headset to be playing all the time, most people just have a honeymoon phase and then it's collecting dust for weeks between plays or some rare releases at best.
Of course, playing with a Google Cardboard and two mice can't compare to playing with a dedicated VR headset and VR controllers but not everyone can afford a dedicated VR kit with a VR headset and VR controllers. However, those who can't afford VR gear and are interested in VR games can still enjoy the gaming experience using the "Poor man's" alternatives that I've mentioned until they can afford to purchase dedicated VR gear. Perhaps what you said may be true in privileged, upper middle class, spacious, suburban neighborhoods where almost everyone owns a house with a two car garage and a front and back lawn but there are also lower middle class income people living in crowded cities who may or may not be struggling to pay their monthly rent for their small, overpriced apartment whose friends do not own any VR headset, so as to lend to them one, for which all of what you said does not hold true. Worse yet, there are low income [poor] people who struggle with food insecurity as well as with the dilemma of trying to pay their monthly rent for whom VR gear ownership is only a distant dream that is suppressed in the back of their minds in lieu of more pressing, significant matters of basic survival! IMHO, at ~$200USD for a brand new, off-brand, older model VR headset without any VR controllers, like a "Pico G2 4K" or a lightly used, brand name headset like an Occulus (Now Meta) Quest 2 (A heavily used one can go for as low as ~$60 but there is no telling for how long such a headset will last after purchased), it's still not a practical piece of gaming hardware in terms of cost.
I believe that the price of a brand new VR headset needs to drop more near the $100 range (About what I'd spend for a high end game controller) before the technology becomes more widely accepted by the average consumer. If you're one of the few people who are privileged enough to be able to afford a Meta Quest 3 or a complete Steam Valve Index VR kit then consider yourself fortunate (Your last sentence appears to allude to the fact that you are one of those privileged few even though you may not realize that fact until you see how much less others have compared to what you have) but please do not look down upon others who can't afford such a luxury (I'm not saying that you do - It's more of a precautionary warning of what to avoid). After all, bad karma has a funny way of boomeranging back at those who project it!
You are comparing cars with pigs. If you purchase a quest 3s, it includes all you need to play videogames, whatch videos visit the website or any other thing, you can compare it to mobile phones. What phone do you purchase for 300 € that move games properly? What video console or computer do you purchase for that money? Your comment makes no sense, you just try to show a nice FAKE face.
First of all, the correct, commonly known phrase is "Comparing apples and oranges". I have no idea where you got "Comparing Cars and pigs" - It sounds like you made up that phrase!
You're actually confused. I did not compare the Google Cardboard against any dedicated VR headset. In fact, if you carefully re-read the first sentence in the first paragraph in my reply comment to Seek, you can see that it says "Of course, playing with a Google Cardboard and two mice can't compare to playing with a dedicated VR headset and VR controllers ..." making all of your subsequent questioning about the capabilities of any mobile phone invalid.
If anything, your line of questioning appears to makes no sense and only serves to prove that you're just a fanatical, VR technology elitist who probably thinks that the people who cannot afford a dedicated VR headset should not even bother to try to enjoy playing VR games with the one viable alternative left to them - The Google Cardboard combined with a mobile phone! Your mind is so sick and twisted that it's not enough for you that you already have an expensive VR headset but you also want to try to discourage others who can't afford one, from even playing VR games at all using a Google Cardboard with a mobile phone!
Finally, it's pretty lame of you, Seek, to create this new alias account of yours which only has one comment on its profile page and then use it to try to create the illusion that multiple members are challenging me. It was very easy to deduce that it's you, Seek, that's behind this alias account (No one else would have a strong motive to do so after my first rebuttal to your reply comment) - Any totally new member to this site would most likely try to post, as their very first comment, a request comment in the Game Request page asking about a game upload, re-upload or update or at least post a friendly reply comment greeting to another member to try to start the new account off with a good impression to others but instead, your "CANS1N0" alias account tries to attack my character using a nonsensical line of questioning and then make a baseless accusation, with its very first posted comment! Lame!
If anyone is trying to show a "FAKE" face here it's actually you, Seek or whatever your actual main account is called! You're pathetic!
Hello, Many thanks for the languaje explanation, although I know this is the common expression, I though they are fruits and are far more similar than a controller and a headset.
I am not confused, you are comparing a headset with a controller, makes NO SENSE, that "it should cost 100 € max". Therefore I AM THE ONE that says you can compare it more with a mobile phone (in price), as it runs standalone, the same as a quest 2 or 3. Well if the cost of this headsets is for "fanatical, VR technology elitist", do not purchase any tech, anything will cost at least this much ( a computer, a mobile phone, a tablet....).
BTW I am not "Seek", it is a new account, but I am someone else. The reason for creating the user is because I find your comment very opportunistic, taking for granted things that seem completely wrong to me, trying to convey an idea contrary to what it really is. But if you want to play the victim and act offended, go ahead!
"you also want to try to discourage others who can't afford one, from even playing VR games at all using a Google Cardboard with a mobile phone!" If you try this type of VR, usually makes you do not want to try it again, as this has NOTHING to do with the actual VR and causes nausea and other stuff. But if you think it is good to encourage this, go ahead!
But apologies for being so "fanatical, VR technology elitist, lame and pathetic", thanks for the comments.
The commonly expression is appropriate for this situation as both the Google Cardboard and any dedicated VR headset are alternative options that are similarly used to resolve the problem of how to be equipped in order to able play a VR game. The methodology (More precisely, the technology) behind each option is different but they each can be used in a similar fashion (Worn on top of a player's head with the lens facing the player's eyes) to resolve the problem! Also, when you make up your own words or phrases you may end up losing some credibility with anyone who views whatever you wrote.
You're still confused. Again, I made no such comparison. The Google Cardboard and any dedicated VR headset are different, alternative options that can be similarly used to resolve the aforementioned problem. Thus to compare each one to the other would be like comparing "Apples" to "Oranges". Consider more in-depth the phrase: "Apples" and "Oranges" are both similar in that they each are a kind of fruit though they are different in that they each belong to unrelated, botanical geneses (species). Both can resolve the problem of what to eat if given a choice of the two, whenever one is hungry.
Sure, whatever. There's no real way for any "regular" member to prove anything unless that member has staff level [Moderator or above] access to view the IP addresses behind Seek, CANS1N0 and your main account to see whether they resolve to the same original (real) IP address. It won't matter whether you use a VPN assigned IP address to try to hide your real IP address as site owners have tools like Packet sniffers and IP Tracers to find out your real IP address - They use those tools to ensure that any undesirable visitors like permanently banned members remain permanently logged off their site. So you can claim to be whomever you want to be. Nobody really cares! Also, there was no need for you to "hide" behind an alias account instead of confronting me with your main account - I'm not a staff member with any special site privileges, so it's not like I could reprimand or do anything negative to your main account. Like the medieval knight or a samurai, I would just prefer meeting any one who wants to challenge me, out in the open in honorable combat rather than use guile and deception when trying to face me - IMHO, to do the latter is dishonorable or cowardly.
If using a Google Cardboard causes you or a few others nausea then don't use it but that does not necessarily mean that it will cause nausea to everyone who uses one! If that happened on a wide scale level then that product would have stopped being sold a long time ago as nobody would still be buying them to this day! "If you try this type of VR, usually makes you do not want to try it again, ..." - That's just your opinion and the opinion of a few other VR technology elitists but not everyone's opinion. Also, I don't need your permission to try to help others who still want to play VR games despite not having an expensive, dedicated VR headset!
It's alright. I accept your apology and forgive you for "being so 'fanatical, VR technology elitist, lame and pathetic'". You're welcome anytime to have another rousing conversation with me!
That's easy for anyone to do if a person simply follows your classic example after reading your repeated comments where you keep denying to yourself that you're really a self-centered, VR technology elitist who doesn't care about those who can't afford a dedicated VR headset and where you wrongfully keep insisting that I had compared a Google cardboard to any dedicated VR headset! I will have fun - When you're not around to "Darken my door" ever again! Try it again in another VR Game page and I'll have a Mod deal with you as a member which includes all of your accounts, for repeated harassment of another member (Namely, me)!

this game is unique as it is the only one that utilizes roomscale (game space) where it doesnt matter how small/big your irl space is
it will procedurally generate spaces ingame according to the size of your irl space.
