all the download links dont work besides http://megaup.net which downloads extremely slow for some reason, also i tried downloading the torrent version on the turrent site and there were no seeders left at 92% so its stuck now
Everytime the game starts and after the Bandai Logo it crashes what did i do wrong? I already placed the files from the crack folder into the game directory :/ Is it bc i didnt install the update? EDIT: change the CustomConfig file and put in a "0" instead of "1" in FullScreen then it works
Can you please mention size of the uploaded game(total size to be downloaded) in the description? It will help a lot to choose which to download based on priority
whenever i try to start the game it says "SteamAPI_Init: failed, please restart Steam and see if the problem is resolved". Any ideas on how to fix this?
Not everyone likes Google Drive, just as not everyone likes Mega. IGG does an incredible service by providing us so many link options to choose from. I imagine you'd be upset if Drive was down, on the 3rd try, just as well.
Update 2 is shit unless you really play in Italian or Spanish. They still don't address the most crucial issues. Also the save slot still limited to 6. I doubt there will be FPS patch officially (expect a patch fro Durante for this).
Why are the system requirements so high as far as the recommended graphics card goes? It's actually higher than the kind of card required to play the Gamecube version in 1080p on the Dolphin emulator. That can easily be done with a Radeon 6770.
FYI, you can run this game with toaster graphic card. I use Radeon HD 3000 on 760G Chipset (overclocked a bit to 750MHz and 512MB). Intel HD 2000 or higher might be able to pull this off.
Thanks for the response. I was referring to the high end requirement of an HD 7850 or better required to run it (I'm assuming) at max settings. This game is over 11 years old. I just find it kind of strange that you can run the original Gamecube version at 3x or 4x native resolution with a lesser card like the HD 6770 through an emulator because emulation normally takes far more hardware resources, not less, to run than a typical pc game or pc port. Heck, the high end system requirements for this game is higher than a game like Bioshock Infinite even though it's a port of an 11 or 12 year old game.
Sorry for the necropost, but I thought I'd add some insight: Emulation, as you said, requires a stronger hardware setup than most equivalent PC-based games. However, most emulators rely more upon the CPU itself than the graphics card - specifically the IPC (Instructions per clock), not the cores. The GPU sees the biggest impact when it can operate OpenGL 4, and DirectX 11. Pretty much everything except for older, integrated cards are OpenGL 3 and above, with my system (OpenGL 2) still being able to run Dolphin. PC ports of console games are notoriously inefficient and terribly optimized. The GameCube itself had a 128bit 435 MHz Power PC processor, 40Mb of memory, and a 128bit 202MHz Flipper graphics chip, all at 640x480 resolution... That ran this game. Granted, they up resolution packages, but this PC to console comparison is nothing like the Final Fantasy games (FFX and FFX-2), and the system reqs of the PS2 upgrades aren't this steep. I blame it all on complete cash-grabby laziness...
Thank you for the post. I take it you're a pretty experienced hand with emulation and how it works as well as knowing the techs & specs of a console like the Gamecube. I think your post pretty much answers my question. Much appreciated.
I am a bit sad for the port to be this bad...very bad. But otherwise, thanks for the upload. I'm just gonna wait for the next update to unfuck everything.
anyone found solution about blank screen than crash when start the game :/ *Found solution = change customconfig in resolution change fullscreen 1 to 0 have fun
all links are dead. links not founded. I guess its something related to the redirection links. If possible, please someone post the mega links without redirection. EDIT.: nevermind. it was something related to my squid-proxy. all links working fine.
Great action JRPG :)
