As I become older, the game like surviving mars fits better to me as I no longer have the time to invest in learning "meta" in the new EU5, I used to be able to keep up with the meta in EU4, Vic2, CK3, Stellaris, CIV 5 and 6 etc, but after 10 DLC in to the any of the paradox games, all meta are obsolete. You either have to keep learning, or you will have to turn down the difficulty.
As for the game, like Surviving Mars, there's no technically a meta, so there is no "new meta". It feels like a game I can pick up anytime in my life and play one more round, instead of a game that I have to look on the Internet to learn if anything major has changed.
Agree, like Stellaris, they made a different game in 4.x version recently, and the changes are bad, which did not meet my expectation, moreover is, getting worse.
WTF? I downloaded the ISO from 1Fichier, although the installer says "Surviving Mars Relaunched", the destination folder says "Project Spark" when I'm trying to install??
New UI looks delicious tho.

I guess it's just like NFS Unbound, whose Steam folder name is acutally "Excalibur" which puzzled me when trying to mod the game.
