For everybody having trouble with the TENOKE updates, here is a workaround: The "patch.bin" files all have a header starting with "HDIFF19&&fadler64" which lead me to download sisong/HDiffPatch from github, downloaded a current build (hdiffpatch_v4.5.2_bin_windows32.zip) and extracted hpatchz.exe into a directory containing the "patch.bin". Then run it from command line with "hpatchz OLDDIR patch.bin NEWDIR" - replace OLDDIR and NEWDIR as needed, or check the parameters using "hpatchz -?" (might use option for overwrite in place - took me some tries for patcher to accept target directories ). This way I managed to apply all three patches (one after another) to get to a running game version 1.0.3. Have fun
Not a bad game, the control scheme is a little wonky, I didn't check but maybe I could rebind the keys. Played for about an hour but it's just not my cup of tea. I used to really really like Harvest Moon styles of games, but I guess I've just grown out of them.
My biggest complaint though is how slow your character moves and how huge the map is. Feels like you spend more time walking to the quest locations than anything else.
well yeah, it's something lacking in here tho, it's like nobody's sprinting or running in this game. adding "running" feature should made this game more "realistic" or "colorful" (if you know what i mean), but i enjoyed the game so far, the story line is somehow interesting in some way, plus, the feature of battle, fishing, farming, etc- just like "rune factory" game (which also i adore).

I checked through the files because I was also curious about this, it all seems to be the games resources, I didn't see anything suspicious and the files all add up to that much, so from what I can see it's safe. I've found that video game specs, including storage space, are not always 100% accurate. Sometimes it's just because they aren't updated as the game itself is updated, or something like that.
the only way is to manually backup your save, go to user - appdata - locallow - pixel sprout studios - sun haven - saves. You should see the name of your save, you can copy it to your flash drive or save it to your email its up to you.

You do not use the Tenoke installers (.exe), just the data files (patch.bin). I just tried it again for the latest two patches, this time with the -f parameter. hpatchz.exe -f GAMEDIR patch4.bin GAMEDIR This allows same output directory as input directory (force overwrite), it uses a temp directory while running. Patch time depends on size of patch and your hardware, but it might take over a minute to complete. If you have spaces in your directory, make sure to encapsulate paths in ".
I made a less complex solution, I downloaded the tenoke 1.1.0F update patch that is in piratebay, then with the Patch.exe of that file that works, I pasted it and replaced the file in the udpdate 1.01, 1.02, etc. folders until I got there to 1.1.0c, until 1.1.0f, which I think is the last update, i dont Know if the update 1.1.0F what is here works?, you should try to see if it works with the one here, otherwise you have to download it from piratebay like I did
i have done like you and i can update the game to 1.0.3 version but i have problem with the next update 1.1.0c, it warms me about a problem of versión before the update starting... T-T i dont like tenoke versions...

i cant run update , when i click patch.exe nothing happens. I did according to the instructions. please upload the packed files only, without the installer, or how to open this .bin file, I can't do it with any program
And again, the 1.0.2 Patch does not work for me either, just aborts silently with application errors in the event manager. Anyone know the prerequisites for the patch? Certain runtimes? Because the base game installs and runs just fine on my Win10 machine.
That is a nice theory, but when trying to install 1.0.1 I have the same issue, as posted below. I do not get any message pointing out to me the possible cause of an underlying issue, but am stuck with some 1000 and 1005 ids in the event manager.

This is like a alpha build, looking forward to its progress but it's not worth playing for now until the devs put more time into it, why is this early access I don't know, under steam's old greenlight system this wouldn't pass.

On about day 5 my screen just turns black and I cant see anything when I leave the house. I have tried reinstalling aswell. Any tips on how to fix this issue?
the game is VERY early access, there are tons of bugs to this game some more annoying then others. my best suggestion is to put this game on a shelf and give it some time, let them make a more finished product then what can only be called a beta of the game as it is
Had the same thing happen to me at day 26, tried the multiplayer version it was completley bugged after it spawned me on my farm. a bunch of things where missing from my character look and my health and mana where at 1000. coudn't move and a lot of visual bugs on farm.
I haven't played Kynseed in a long time, but last time I tried it, it was already really great, one of the best in this category. It wasn't as complex and didn't have as many features as something like Stardew Valley, though. Maybe it has more content now. Dunno how Sun Haven compares to Stardew Valley, though. Also, keep an eye on Fantasy Farming - Orange Season, it's really underrated, I feel.
