Wow, I had that on Megadrive in 1992... Still one of the best games ever. I wish they would make again isometric 2D chopper games like that. On the other hand, maybe the comparison is a bit weird? Why not comparing it to another city builder like Sim City 2000 instead ?😁
Sim City type games are not my favorite, that's why I didn't mention it, nor did it cross my mind to do so. The Desert Strike I had in Megadrive, it was a cartridge almost twice the size, compared to others for the same console ... one of my favorites from Megadrive / Genesis. The console was sold to be able to buy the first Playstation, along with the Supernes, the cartridge we are talking about and many more games from both consoles (also the "Sunset Riders" by Supernes, my favorite among all) ... three years ago I returned to buy the Megadrive with that same cartridge, to give you an idea of how important it was to me. Greetings
I thought it could be a nice replacement for the old "https://igg-games.com/beach-269719260-life-free-download.html", but it plays quite differently. Graphics are actually worse (even if Beach Life came out in 2002!) but they're cute pixel art, though, and the gameplay offers more possibilities. (bigger islands, roads, more buildings, etc) By the way, I'm reading that this game is based on "Holiday Island"(1996), but it's actually worse, according to Steam reviews. Game is in early access, though, so let's wait and see! It could become great!😊 This is Beach Life, still the best "RESORT island management simulator" for me. =>
You mean Beach Life? Yeah, it's starting to be troublesome to make it work on modern rigs, unfortunately, so maybe summer islands will be a good replacement after all... It's too bad that such old games get lost in time...
my avira detect it as a virus, after unblock the steamloader.exe and launch it,it stuck in game loading page and my task manager show me PC memory on 99% didnt drop down at all
desert strike graphics :O
