Deviating from the formula that works runs the risk of new projects falling flat on their face. Also I think they'd have to make an entirely new game engine to make a different feeling game, they're probably tryna avoid doing that as well. But I agree with you tho, coming out again with the same thing but with new paint gets old quick. They need to switch things up if they wanna grow.
