Despite the warnings of game issues and free time on my hands, gave it a go much to my dismal expectations. It started like any monday, but when an intruder slime was onboard, things went down without even a fight ...while asleep. Given the relative danger being alone in a literally defenseless craft, even though, an alarm was built along with a weapon's locker connected, the powered alarm didn't even set off. Since it's still in EA, it's forgivable, but I better listen to my own advice. Try again at a later update.
I am stuck on this objective where it want me to send a nutrition brick to Mr.Pink, I enter the starmap and his starship is not there, and I can't warp because it says that I need to find the fleet?
if people are having black screen issues, then this is confirmed to be an issue in the game itself, and will probably be fixed in a later update EDIT: Hotfix for this came out 2 hours ago on steam as of this edit.
can someone verify that this is working good? wanted to check it out but the 85mb size is kinda sketching me out since according to google the game should be like 500mb.
Nope, since what's a great game for me isn't a great game for others. And there are enough morons on this site (as you can see), and I really REALLY don't wanna argue with these clowns about what games I like and play.
Sure, you can say that. I indeed said that years ago... when I was an ignorant unwise jackass. The mixed reviews are already there as a warning sign that it is not going to be well-received by most. There are many other games to spend time (and if one risks it, money too) on, and something that already has a warning sign would be a pass for some, especially those who are jaded.
Any complaint is deserved. Those people making those reviews had spent time and/or paid money for a product that did not satisfy them. Years ago, I would have said things like these people are entitled a$$holes and such other expletives if they are complaining about things like the game not having their native language, if I was not downplaying them and shit for being "unfair" to the developers. But now? Fuck no. There are many games around and not much time and/or money to spend on each and every one of them. If a game does not make a good impression from the get-go, then it's a pass and it's time to look elsewhere.
No, it means that I also love some niche games... you know, the games that are as far away from mainstream as possible, which get mixed reviews, because most people don't see the appeal to these titles. So spare me the "people like you..." speach you idiot.
Just like Star Haven, another game that seemed like I was gonna love but ended up getting turned off by the micro management hell, just don´t have patience to learn and deal with a gazillion itty bitty stuff in submenus of submenus of submenus.. Doing wiring, piping, installing vents... Really? What a boring chore.
I feel bad that people are down voting you, it's just your opinion/taste, and you have a right to it. Can I ask, why did you expect that you'd love this game (and Star Haven) when they are clearly in the management genre?
I think he wants macro management not micromanagement, i agree throught why would you think station managment wont be micromanagement as compared to Empire Management where its macromanagamenet ?
