It claims that it recognizes my controller plugged in, then after one button press past the first screen, reverts to keyboard and doesn't recognize my controller.
And thats as good as ubisoft and the french gets. They put more effort into a bad neighborhood of racially androgenous characters for you to select from.
I haven't played it yet, only installed it but I hope it's like the switch version where you don't need the physical toys. I think this is the deluxe edition so it should come with the extra ships, pilots and weapons too. EDIT: Confirmed, it's all there safe for the Starfox pilots and ship since that is Switch exclusive
I don't really mind. Sure the Starfox content was cool but it's their IP, they can do what they want with it. I don't really mind it being Switch exclusive. I like the other characters better anyway
I mean sure... they can do that. Didn't work well whenever they do try to collab well outside of their space. They gave their IPs to CDi and tried to own the entire company later. Same goes that one time they tried to tie Squaresoft into make only Nintendo exclusive games after the making of Super Mario RPG. It's probably for the best... 😓
Starlink specifically was released late in the toys to life fad so they were smart enough to allow us to play the game without any toys, sadly(atleast for me) is the fact that the Switch version has a star Fox collab with a playable fox integrated in the story and with unique missions and atleast for now There's isn't any mod to Port that content for the pc port.
Yeah, Starfox's crew are the only DLC pilots that are fully integrated into the main story and even have little side quests of their own. shame it's Switch exclusive but at the same time it's understandable
