Apparently, resource management, is not as intuitively standard issue as we might like to think.
I have friends who are grown men, who never learned how to resource manage in REAL life. They've lived off socialism and welfare states all their life.
And when I've given them simple RPG games, with minimal resource management, like final fantasy, they cant get past the first level.
Videogames, are teaching kids more then schools are sometimes.
Why? Kurzgesagt has almost 25 million subscribers on YouTube. They (should/would) have made tens of millions of dollars from YT ads alone by this point. Even dividing that by 20 staff, that's still nearly a million dollars per person over the past 12 years, which is pretty damn good (again, that's just YT ads, let alone merch and sponsorships, which pushes them all into millionaire territory).
