On the official EA site, it says that this game can be played offline with a friend but unfortunately, Game Rant says that there's no single player mode (No bots are available). You mean the remote PC access software called Parsec? That's fine if you want to play with your friends co-op but you still can't play single player mode for times when it's not convenient for friends to join in this game as Zer0wlet was also asking about.
The devs didn't program the game to be played single player (No bots are in the game) and most likely, no mod on Nexus or anywhere else could possibly make a single player mode happen. The game would probably need to be hacked somehow, some code written within and then compiled to include a bot for single player mode to happen! Maybe the devs will release a DLC for single player mode in the far future but for now, this game is multiplayer only on or offline.
Please buy the game, it is so good and incredibly fun. We really have to support the developers on this game and 50€ isn't the world or waiting for a sale.

You can play the offline co-op mode with this Scene released game. The online co-op mode will require a separate, online crack. Online-fix.me has posted an online crack. I have tried both adding to steam as a non-steam game and launch from there, and simply tring to open the exe while steam is open. Both methods stil result in this error message. Any idea?
Use a download manager, you wont have these issues anymore. As long as your net speed allows it, and your not downloading 10 parts at one time with 100mbs total bandwidth, allowing all 10 files to be downloaded at the same time. which makes the one's that are "closer" to you download a bit faster, making the others "slow af".

to download, then extract yes. you can delete the downloads after you extracted (successfully). Then mount the ISO with daemon tools, or power ISO, and install the game.
again tho, if its extracted, AND PROPERLY you should remove the downloaded files. although, i tend to wait until its fully installed, and tested before i remove stuff.
