If anyone is also with the "NG has stopped working. Crash dump has been generated" issue, it was already fixed and patched in the steam last version. IGG just gotta update it now
I've gotten pretty far into the game (Day 8/08) and it decided to up and crash: "NG has stopped working. Crash dump has been generated" I tried a couple of the ways people have suggested to fix it generally.
Download C++ 2015 x86
Turn off virus protection
Unplug controller (if using one with PC) After doing that, it played a slide which looked to be a jump scare from choosing "Scary Mode", and then it went back to crashing. I've looked into it and it's a DEVELOPER issue and nothing to do with the crack, the game difficulty mode or virus protection. It should have been resolved by now since it's almost April (and this issue was brought up back in January). I would say look into getting the game on a different platform. So far there have been no complaints from the Nintendo Switch community or PS4.
It’s false positive. The method used to crack games is similar to the method used to code malware! Anti-virus programs will detect the crack as a virus and delete it, even though it isn’t! Like explained https://igg-games.com/virus-461012836-trojan.html.
When I start the game, I can get as far as "Please help" (maybe a minute in, still in the alley). Then the program shuts down with a window citing "NG has stopped working. crash dump has been generated". Does anybody know how to solve this problem ?
So I downloaded the game and I've gotten pretty far into it, and everything runs fine, no problems at all. Except when I try to view a very specific character profile. For some reason, every time I try to view Amanome's character profile, the game crashes; it's happened every single time without fail. I've not been able to view his profile since the game started. I wouldn't have minded this if Amanome wasn't my favorite character. So, does anyone have a suggestion for this? Should I reinstall the game? I don't think I've heard of anyone else having this problem, so I'm not sure how to approach it.
Somehow during the start of the investigation mode, the screen suddenly zoomed in to the point where the dialogue box was nowhere to be seen, anyone has a fix for this??
When I try to run the game at first it said I didn't have msvcp140.dll installed. I've looked around and learned that comes with C++2015, which I definitely have installed. Nevertheless, I went and grabbed the dll from another computer and pasted it unto my system folder but now it says "the application was unable to start (0xc000007b)". Either there's something wrong with my computer (which is odd since every other game I've had worked) or there is something wrong with this version of the game.

Mine blocked the installer and two files (post-installation), the first two were considered trojans and the latter a "CredentialAccess" something... normally I don't have issues with the games I get from this website but this one seems to be the exception. Shrug After that I had to install C++ 2015, the x86 version. My computer is x64 but for some reason some installers and games require both versions to work. Hope that helps you and other folks.
