Hmm ... Based on the Chinese audio and the highly detailed, Japanese-like village setting in the background in both trailers on this game's Steam page (see here), this game's story most likely takes place in Taiwan. I'm not really into horror games but this game looks like it's worth checking out for the scenery and interactions with the locals, since I've never visited Taiwan before (Yes, I know that the experience might not offer a true glimpse of RL over there but still it's a fun way to explore Taiwan without having to book an expensive flight over there). 🙂
