It's a high 3/5, but I bump it up to 4/5 on final thought.

This game lacks depth for a roguelike game, but in a somewhat good way. Have you ever played "Luck Be a Landlord" or "Hades" and felt like, "This run feels real nice"? This is that type of game. Very simple mechanism, not a whole lot of skill involved, very rudimentary synergy combination, but it just feels nice when you defeat the enemy without doing anything. It's like Vampire Survivor, when you have a good build, you just stay there, do nothing, and watch enemies die.

The enemy's difficulty ramps up quite fast, but your damage ramps up even faster. It's one of those exponential growth rather than linear growth.

But I have to say, the mechanism is a bit too simple for me. I 100% it in less than two hours, probably as soon as you unlock five slots from the upgrade shop—you just win, that simple, you just win.

Usually, I don't give a high score for a game that lacks depth, but this is probably the best one in its peers, as for a " no need to be skillful, but feels really nice" type of game. So I think it's worth a 4/5 even though it's not technically there.

Tip: Having more money early on is definitely better than having more raw damage. Find a way not to deal many hits; keeping rolling for more money early on would be a better strategy. One-hit killing an enemy is actually worse off than if you roll a couple more turns for more money. There are so many ways to heal your HP later on, but if you don't accumulate enough money early on, you will struggle to grow further because the enemy grows exponentially.
