Cut scene arts are good, but only 2 NPC portraits look OK, the rest portraits are ugly.
Having reached near the end, I have to conclude that the writing is not very good. Passable at best. And there were very little true evil/chaotic choices, EX: If you try to keep whatever cursed stuff to yourself, thinking there might be a subquest to join the cult later, no, at best you just sell it to a collector for money, else they just collect dust.
No overview map which can be a headache when map is very large or has limited views (but there's the revealMap command if it's too annoying)
No simple AI which makes easy battles repetitive. ====== ====== ====== ====== ====== ====== Then there are some red flags: It seems female NPCs tend to have the spotlight in dialogue delivery. Not to say it's overtly so, but I feel a subtle tendency.
There're 2 strange console commands: getHeShe(charname) getHimHer(charname) To be fair there were no aggressive inserts in the story writing (I mostly skim through), but its hard explain the necessity for these, in the console no less.
You can't make every quest about love affairs, but for the 2 quests I've got:
Fetch main quest for a woman who's mad her man slept with a sissy boy.
Delivery side quest for a lesbian, with brainstorming for a love poem.
It is a little suspicious.
Weighting these against the positives (overall style, battle system), my opinion on this game moved from the initial positive 3 or 4 days ago to neutral.
