This is a great game to bond with my wife's son. I give it an A+ rating. There are no voice actors, but the game still brings me a full gamer's climax. Halfway through the game I had to stop beating xer with jumper cables and lower my jaw agape before I continued a-gaping xer. I loved being able to switch between missions with the 'police' department to the degenerate underworld missions alongside my wife's son. The combat system is dynamic and simulates accurately the force and trajectory of jumper cables against my wife's son anus, and you have a choice of jumper cables, nine different colors, and even more different swinging abilities. It really gave me a Deus Ex experience given that you can augment your character and you get to build your own home inside the game. This game deserves a A+ rating and I am proud to steal it and play it and I might buy it in the future and develop a mod to simulate my irl jumper cables for the Shadows of Doubt (SoD) community. A+ job well done. Wish it were not so laggy in some parts, but I think I just need more ram or a better CPU. I got 3.2 on the CPU and 32 ram, but it still is laggy in some parts and I jump through the walls on accident when I fast forward through time. I wish there was a function to solicit prostitutes to come to my house in-game, but I will make due with beating my wife's son with jumper cables to make up for the lack of features. Thanks again my dudes @ IGG.
dev abandoned project, unpolished gameplay, bugs, glitches, this is not 1.0, bla bla bla
in other words this is another game that the dev seems to give up or totally lost interest and just posted the "1.0 release" without giving a shit that still unfinished actually
thanks. i played a bit of it a while ago when it came out and i really enjoyed the idea. could have ended up being really intricate but im not going to play a game where the dev/s say fuck this im out.
An immersive sandbox detective stealth game set in a fully simulated sci-fi noir city of crime and corruption. Think like a private investigator and take on jobs to earn cash on your path to catching a serial killer. If you don’t catch them - they will kill again…
Wasn't sure about this one first but got me interested and tested it out. Ended up buying the game on Steam to have proper updates. It's really fun to figure things out. There's a tutorial which leads your hand a little but after that you have to figure stuff out on your own - no hand holding. Also important is that if you don't have patience or can't come up with solutions to get more information on your own, you'll have a bad time in this if the tutorial didn't stick in your mind. You can easily loose yourself for a couple hours in this for just one case. So it's not for people that like things to go very fast.
All in all, I can recommend atleast trying it out if you are into detective and immersive sims. And buying it if you liked it enough to support them and get proper updates when they roll out.
Thank you for uploading the game. Unfortunately I get a Visual C++ error when I open the game where the application has requested the runtime to close. I get to the initial screen but after clicking on a button the game crashes to the desktop. I've installed all C++ versions and even deleted all and reinstalled them again, but it still crashes. Any ideas?
Being able to simulate a few hundreds of people living their lives on a small 'island', it's impressive to a certain level. But this game often explodes as it's trying to do too many things at once.
you can also look for %appdata% and go one folder back to go to LocalLow. Then ColePowered Games, Shadows of Doubt and Saves. It's not necessary to turn on "show hidden files" if you go to appdata that way.
Normally you can. Try going over a pinned information (clue) and middle mouse drag to the clue you want to connect it with. It will give you mutliple color options and a note you can write into, which you can re-read when hovering over the connection. In some cases some clues get automatically connected, like pinning an apartment and finding clues in there will instantly connect them.
